Who thinks that they will have Lucky Dip tickets again?

I would say so for stadium/open air shows with loads of tix available. Might be more tricky with more intimate venues like Red Rocks but as far as I remember, all 2013-2014 shows had Lucky Dips (what about Singapore?)...

To my understanding Singapore and Macau did not have Lucky Dips.

All the music press is reporting roughly the same info about the "unconfirmed" Stones tour so it would appear they've been green lighted and an announcement is imminent.

And for all of you rumor mongers guessing where they'll play... don't forget the Motor City.

Does anyone know how bv gets his info? Is that sort of a mystery, or does he work for the stones or something?

Actually there is no rumour about Detroit date at the moment except the fact that Ronnie gave away plans for upcoming tour during interview with Detroit radio station... I guess date at Ford Field could be possible but I'm afraid Detroit is a tricky market for big shows at the moment with current economy and Stones high tickets prices doesn't exactly help...

Too early after Pittsburgh date (rumoured for 20th June)... I would say original rumour about 23rd June would be correct.

Front page of the San Diego U-T says "Stones Rolling into San Diego". "Likely date is May 24, according to sources. …[and] being produced by AEG Live." So date is still not officially confirmed. "No other cities have been confirmed for the tour." Great news for me, but last time they were at Petco, the concert sold out in minutes. Hopefully the Stones will handle tickets themselves like they did before.

Hope they come back to the UK. Would be cool if they did a Sticky Fingers set although the record I'd love to see them do in full is Exile.

San Diego, L.A., Red Rocks, Pittsburgh, Indianapolis, NY, Milwaukee , 1 in Canada are 100% already. Already 8 cities. Maybe Buffalo.. Not many left.. 6/8 more cities to add and the tour is ready

Nothing is 100% until the Stones announce tour

The 2005 Ford Field show was a tough sell and that show had the lowest average ticket price of the entire tour.

This is how it looks with all the recent rumours... I've bolded ones that are appearing in various sources, incl. local media as these are most likely going to happen.

May 24 (Sun) - San Diego, CA @ Petco Park
May 28 (Thu) - Los Angeles, CA @ Hollywood Park

June - Texas - rumoured
June - Morrison, CO @ Red Rocks Amphitheatre - rumoured
mid June - Minneapolis, MN @ TCF Bank Stadium
June 20 (Sat) - Pittsburgh, PA @ Heinz Field
June 23 (Tue) - Milwaukee, WI @ TBC (Summerfest, Miller Park or Alpine Valley)

2 shows to fit in between - Memphis or Kansas City rumoured
July 4 (Sat) - Indianapolis, IN @ Indianapolis Speedway
July 11 (Sat) - Buffalo, NY @ Ralph Wilson Stadium

mid July - Quebec City, QB @ Plains Of Abraham (Festival D'été) - rumoured
mid July - New York City, NY - Forest Hills (rumoured but recently denied)
mid July - Raleigh, NC - rumoured
mid July - Atlanta, GA - rumoured
mid July - Orlando, FL - rumoured

That's the oddest looking US Tour I've ever seen.

Detroit has woken from its dark days.
AC/DC had NO problem selling out Ford Field in less than an hour.
A Rolling Stones show here would have no troubles.
The Stones LOVE the Motor City!

Well, AC/DC had low ticket prices ranging from just $25 up to $110 for GA standing. Average ticket price was 60-70 bucks. There is no way the Stones will offer tix for similar prices - rather they will start from $100 range and go up to even $1000 for pit tickets...

and that's why they will not sell out.

Yeah, it feels like the Pittsburgh and Detroit markets are too close for individual shows, but you never know till it's official.

having attended, detroit 2005 seemed sold out. don't remember that ticket being priced differently than all the other shows. it was a great crowd & vibe. alot like philly crowds are.

Two gigs for the whole of the UK as you can only go to Glastonbury if you buy tickets 9 months before and need ID can't count that! Maybe its time for us again. We were after the US tour last time so lets hope!

Santa Barbara County Bowl...my backyard! It's beautiful and an awesome setting but small...as awesome as it would be, I can't see them playing there.

Seems there are a few of us here in town...Hairball says he's close too & a friend here is a huge fan (we traveled to Europe twice just for Stones gigs). Maybe we should all meet up for a Stones evening...The Press Room perhaps?

I doubt the Bowl is real...but I HEARD Keef was a huge fan of it when he played here for that Gram Parsons gig and asked the Stones about a 5 show residency here (b/c he liked the venue that much). It's probably BS...but there were whispers once...and here they are again. Of course, I will super cross my fingers...I MIGHT have access to Founders Row if they do come...

Been following this story too. Would be great. Sir Paul was there last year. Big venue and don't have to worry about weather issues.

This is what I think could happen for the tour

-First shows in San Diego, San Francisco, maybe Las Vegas
Next, head up to Portland, Seattle, or Vancouver for a show
-Then, head to Denver and Red Rocks
-Next, maybe a stop in Texas somewhere
-Then head to Indianapolis
-A show maybe in Atlanta
-A show in New York
-Last shows are Chicago, Philadelphia, and finish up with a festival in Quebec
That's 13 shows, I'm close. This just seemed like a natural progression for the tour. I could be totally wrong

Is there going to be a warm up show? Will it be in LA again (where I missed the Echoplex show...even though I was in town seeing Waddy) or San Diego this time? Oh geez...I NEED TO SEE THE STONES!!!!
