I even love the screw-up when the girl tries to come in too early after the solo.

And the kid whoo-whooing with the maraca and the tambourine, just rocking out.

Rock and roll is not dead!

Not a screw-up. Just brilliant improvisation as it should be: you can see that also in how she ends the song... Thanks for the post this really made my day!

Wow, not effing bad! It does give one hope. That kid drumming on Loving Cup obviously has the Kenny Aranoff thing going, more power to him. Thanks for posting this.

Glad you enjoyed it!

I was similarly blown away...great to see stuff like this is happening out there. I'd kill to see a show of stones tributes made up of bands like this. They're so young but so damn good!

I think SFTD is from 2014, and Loving Cup from 2013.

Beautiful! Simply beautiful!!

To Dreamer and treacle:

What's a poor girl to do here? I have INFO re - Canada, TORONTO, etc. Small gigs. Really good stuff.

BUT....yes, the BIG BUT.....IF I try to start a new thread it gets deleted! treacle saw that happen yesterday/whenever AND that wasn't even the 'quiet stuff'. confused smiley

Advice? Dreamer? treacle?

There is "hope for mankind" but is there hope for Stones' fans who are craving info?

CE smoking smiley

PS. And I'll be damned if I'm putting "the really good stuff" in a 3 million page thread. Ya see? tongue sticking out smiley

Post it in this thread CE, I won't tell!

Plus, lots of people viewing and not a lot of posts so it won't get missed!

Now, on topic, I wonder what sort of exposure MJ and KR get to this kind of stuff. I'd think it would bring a smile to their face and tear to their eye seeing the young people embrace the music and do such a good job of it!

I do think MJ and KR do get *some* of this stuff. Did you hear the Kid Mitchell Band and the stuff the kids did with Toronto's Kim Mitchell?

Rock is not dead. We (the adults.....well.....?) have to find the kids out there who are willing to learn about rock.

Where is the civility at this place? Oh wait, one must really look for it. Inside the cupboards, under the carpets, in the garage.

Why you feel sorry for people like that, is that outside of this board they treat people the same way...therefore they are not well-liked, reinforcing their negativity.

Must be lonely.

School of Rock what does that mean? is that a school band contest? They must have got the idea to do Loving Cup from Jack White doing it at Shine A Light?!

Hi there!
Since your thread about the album is still here I would start a new one about "I have INFO re - Canada, TORONTO, etc. Small gigs. Really good stuff."
Or do you seriously mean you already tried to start one but couldn't??

Yes I did! It's so energetic and dynamic. Start a thread about school bands & students doing stones tributes?

I wasn't sure how it was going to go when the girl started the vocal, but she knocked it out of the park.
