Probably a week before the first gig. Here are some more uneducated guesses:

- They will rehearse new songs but only use one of them on tour.
- Maybe some new stage decor elements?
- Basically the same setlist and the same number of songs.
- Maybe an Aussie folk song thrown in at some stage?
- Mick taylor's input will be the same as earlier
- Supporting acts?
- Surprise club gig?

We will see....

....saw ole Jimmy on TV the other night saying he'd just had surgery
done to his back BUT was starting rehearsals for his up-coming tour in a few days

Barnes today announced he is rehearsing and set to return. No news on his Stones slot, but it looks like he will be good to go.

James brown documentary being screened in NYC October 20 - does this mean mick will not come to Australia until 21 ?

Jimmy has been in hospital for an operation. He has had to postpone some of his own band's shows. Whilst NOTHING has been said about the Stones' support gigs, it's obviously something to keep an eye on.

He is NOT (thank Clapton!) support at Hanging Rock, or Hunter Valley.

Jimmy announced this morning he is in for Adelaide

Barnesy to rock his spinal tap at Adelaide Oval for the Rolling Stones concert on Saturday, October 25.

Reported by AdelaideNow . . . Stepping out for the first time since spending three weeks in hospital following back surgery, Barnesy walked with the assistance of a cane to attend a function on Tuesday.

“I am on the mend, I’ve been doing a bit of training and getting ready to work again,” the former Adelaide rocker says. “I went in for a small procedure and suddenly I was leaking spinal fluid and I had to have seven surgeries trying to stop it.

“They don’t know why it started. I had really great surgeons and they were baffled; they had to stop it any way they could. Maybe it is because I put so much fluid in during my life but apparently I make more brain and spinal fluid than most people.”

After cancelling a string of gigs due to the hospitalisation, Barnesy is slated to return to the stage at the Adelaide Oval in support of The Rolling Stones on October 25.

Thought I read that announcements were going to be in September and sales in October. Obviously that didn't/isn't happening.

Argentina's economic is very bad falling almost 3% and with 40% of inflation or more, I can't see many people spending $100 for the Stones nowadays, that's about 1,500 pesos with the average salary just over 5,000 pesos.
