Would love it to be Oslo, as it was such a laid back thing when they were rehearsing before the Europe Tour.

No hassle from the media and in the same city as tour starts in.

It was a great time there ,the days before the show on May 26th. smileys with beer

Lets hope they do a week or so of rehearsals in Australia (or Auckland!) and throw in a club show for good measure....

:-)

Yeah sounds like the most plausible solution. If they rehearse in L.A. or in "Paris" then fly to Adelaide for the 1st gig the jet-lag will be unbearable.

I think the most likely thing, will be whatever is the CHEAPEST and easiest option for them. I'm betting on small rehearsals in London (or possibly Paris again), a week or two before they fly down under. Rehearsing down under means a completly new rehearsal space must be scouted and rented, all the gear must be shipped, unpacked, set up, catered, extra hotels booked, transportation arranged, families must be entertained and accommodated while the band rehearse. All that costs money. This is Mick Jagger we are talking about, of the famous London School of Economics, and these are already make up shows that are already costing them money. They may not even rehearse at all, except for the day of the soundcheck.

Probably low-key rehearsals in London, and a couple of more days at production rehearsals in Australia than usual.

I think Keith mentioned in an interview recently he was going to Fiji for a bit first to get over the jet lag. ("and chop down that tree").

If that's the case, it's probably a few days in whatever city they will be based out of for the Aussie shows.

When you're past 70 this goes after the "can we make it?" factor. Therefore they'll choose the most confortable (even if most expensive) option.

Australia are you ready for a club-gig? >grinning smiley<

After thinking about it, I agree with DP, as it was never found out where the last rehearsals in London area were.
A few days or a week there.
Oslo rehearsals what I heard , at Telenor Arena were great, but gotta be realistic I guess.

About a week in Oz, to get over jet lag etc. although Keith may be in Fiji before.

Then the opening gig in Adelaide, and we are off again for the next leg of The Rolling Stones Tour. winking smiley

Yes, he may be: "I'm going to go via Fiji, where I'm going to chop down the tree that I fell out of the last time I was there." spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

Well I gave a couple of clues...
But I don't think they will rehearse there again; the owner will be at home this time :-)

Agreed. Taylor doesn't belong on this list.

Rumor has it the boys will be doing some pre-rehearsals at Keith's house in Weston, CT starting in 2-3 weeks.

Pre-Rehearsals sound good!! Does that mean "Proper" Rehearsals will follow...in Australia??

I have made a deal with my wife - IF I go to Oz early for the Rehearsals (if that is indeed where some happen), I will come home early from the tour, which would mean missing Hope Estate. What to do - what to do?

Standout side in all weather for a few days listening to mumbled sounds through a keyhole, or go to yet another Hit heavy outdoor paddock concert??

Never heard anybody in the last 45 years calling our little, sweet Ronnie just "Wood".
Sounds bizarre.

Ok so it looks like I have two choices, take some extra time in November to catch an extra show or bank on rehearsals going in Oz after the 20th when time off starts. I'm thinking rehearsals with hard core fans and that tiny chance of seeing a warm up gig might be a better option at this stage of my fandom.
