The Stones
They could play a surprise gig at the Hammersmith Apollo and then do two shows at either Twickenham or Wembley Stadium as far as I'm concerned.

Compared to Wembley Stadium and O2 Arena, RAH is almost a club show.
Love to see them at Indigo O2, the small place inside main building.
Saw The Who there, but I don't expect The Rolling Stones to be playing there.
I guessed you might just also be a Who fan Crawdaddy for some reason. With your glasses on you bear more than just a passing resemblance to a band member

Don't think they show up for 1 show in London. Then it will be some 5-10 shows in either O2 or Royal Albert Hall

They will if they don't have to worry about the stage, hence BST Hyde Park.

I do know that every single fan in the world is dreaming about The Rolling Stones coming to your own home town doing a "small" show like at the Royal Albert Hall, Olympia, Budokan or similar. Then please keep in mind some important rules they have for shows these days:
- Limited number of shows (14 or so per leg)
- Available to most local fans (arena/stadium prefered)
- Central (no more Moncton, Bilbao, Hartford, Sheffield etc)
Everybody who live in Western Europe could see the Stones with a maximum of six hours of travel this summer. Why? Because they played central places and large venues. They did Waldbühne for fun, as an extra bonus, but they will not do these stunts tenfold. There might be one RAH, one Olympia, one Budocan, may be even two, if they want to record it for a DVD, but not ten.
Right now they have no plans and no commitments beyond Australia and New Zealand, but like I said in the first post here, all major concert investors in the world do see that the Stones are still a "hot ticket", and they want to book the band.

Springsteen has apparently been booked for the 2015 Calling Festival in Hyde Park (not the same festival as BST summertime), London. Could the Stones be announced as the other headliner? I guess we will see, but if it is a June/July gig (s) I would rule out any indoor venue. That leaves Hyde Park, Wembley, Twickenham and if you want to push it further (although not technically in London...close though)...Knebworth.

They were highly successful in Japan this spring, and I hear promoters want them back for more shows in Japan now. Same with Europe. Same with USA & Canada. The problem is that they can't go to all these plaes. They are almost retired grandparents, just doing a few late additions to their career.
