Keith , keith get rid of the jackets with white sleeves - stick to black - you were doing so well in Rome , let's not have a fashion relapse for the last stretch ......

OMG! That setlist is so...........like all the others.

Yeah, but on the positive side you have a great lightshow like in a Pink Floyd-concert.

I think most people would rather listen to those same songs every day than listening to people complaining about them especially when the person complaining has probably not been to any of these shows.

Nate

Wrong. I went to a show in 2013, and I've listened to a lot of these shows since. It's not like they're on some zenith uptick. It is what it is, a good time Oldies Show with what's left. Cheers.

I think you'll find that most people would agree with me but hey I'm sure your having a great time sitting at home complaining about how other people are spending their evening.

You've got a great future.

Nate

Why don't the setlist whiners heed their own advice and change it up a bit?

I guess maybe they are truly getting on if they have to can the fan request in order to do the B Womack tribute. Twenty songs would just be too much. Hopefully that six month or so delay won't cost those of you down under to get a 17 or 18 song show.

Wild Horses
It's All Over Now
Out of Control

All the rest much as would be expected (and very much as would be desired by the vast majority of the audience - first-timers and casual goers).

So, no reason to complain.

Especially if it was a fantastic night and great to be there.

It's All Over Now is the highlight - sadly I've never heard it.

Are we not we all setlist whiners on some level? If 1 says damn I wanted JJF to start the show instead of Start me Up (whiner)..... If 1 says damn I wanted Angie in the ballad slot instead got Wild Horses (whiner). If the non-setlist whiners went to the next show and got a Paris 2003 setlist or Shine A light movie setlist and were delighted what be the rationale, for the delight??? Why should you be excited they drastically changed the set list (are you not a reverse setlist whiner or hypocrite then)?? Or if they did a Bob Dylan 1 off complete change of songs like he did in Rome last tour what then. Even Keith and Daryl Jones have commented from time to time they are bored playing the same songs for the umpteenth time. They defer to Mick. Is it their right to do so of course duh? I wish they'd mix it up more, but it's their right not to. Would I pay $500-$800 to see them or anyone for that matter play hell no. But I can still express my opinion as anyone here should be able... ok great inventive setlist boys!! Could be a great show no doubt though for sure as I wasn't there..I know I know don't comment or how dare you if you didn't pay $600 to see the actual show. All just opinions people MEZ

As for the setlists ~ the way The Stones are rolling these days its their choice to play whatever songs they feel comfortable with. MICK doesn't like to take risks on lesser played songs, he knows they can pull these tried and true songs off well and the crowds go wild all over the world. Everyone knows these are the some of the best songs ever written! At this stage they are not trying to reinvent the wheel.

What bugs me about tonights setlist is how they excluded the song vote slot when they could have played both Its all over now and the song vote winner. Quite disrespectful throughwards the thousands of fans who took their time to vote for the song they wanted to hear.

Yes they're better at changing their stage clothes than the songs these days...

I haven't seen all the show I wanted, but I saw The Rolling Stones play > 100 songs in front of me, so, I haven't problems about a setlist ..

Back in Leuven after a long walk. In search of food that is.
Took a "werchter" and started the walk from the 2nd row in the middle of YCYGwyw.
Bang on the bus after a 1/2 hour(?) walk. Then 30 min walk in search of food.
I leave it to the experts to say what they should say.
I had a great time, still think 'Can't be seen' should be kept somewhere...
Honky Tonk version of All Over. I stop, For me it was a cool version. Still think they should done the vote thing.
So, my 5 shows are done. See you somewhere. Fun Fun Fun time.
Have fun in ScandiLand!
Will send some photos over to BV.

Can't wait to see the Womack tribute
Just watched the It's All over Now clip from 64. We are so blessed to be in love with a band that are still playing and loving it.

To add...
Cool and strange crowd.
Those in charge of Dusseldorf should have been dragged over.
Here we're talking kids in front. Can walk around a bit without the fear of G knows what.
Think it was Wild Horses, they stopped filming and just enjoyed themself.
Thanks Wercheter! Hope I never see you again of course, downtown Brussels if next? Please (sugar etc)

Sorry, I try not to comment on these particular threads about particular concerts, because those people really seem excited about the particular concert they attended. But sometimes when I see these set in concrete setlists it does anger me. They don't listen to us. They don't care about us and what we want. And as long as they can get enough rubes to pay big bucks, they'll care even less. Hey, I know I'm whizzing up a rope, but there's so little time left with the band, and I hate to see it wasted this way. I guess I put the Stones on a higher pedestal than the other bands, and it's kind of sad to see them go out like this. I guess they already went out with A Bigger Bang.

I love that they played IAON in tribute to Bobby Womack, a super nice thing to do. Was this song even part of the pre-tour rehearsals? Why someone would bitch that because of it they missed playing the song people voted for is beyond me.

Lose your dreams and you will lose your mind...

Thanks Cristiano -- what a great sound in that JJF vid. The intro riff reminded me of the Altamont boot.

Here's HTW from the same uploader, let's hope there's more to come from that source.
