EC should work with rick rubin and have jimmie vivino and max weinberg along with the rest of the conan band and they should cut a record together of traditional blues

I think that's his problem :

"Hard To Thrill"

Hard to thrill
Nothing really moves me anymore
Hard to thrill
Nothing really moves me anymore

There is nothing you can show me
That I haven't seen before
I've got time to kill
Keeping to myself inside this room
Time to kill
Keeping to myself inside this room
Over forty years of fridays
You would give up trying too

from Clapton/Cale The Road To Esondido

He's just getting old and tired ...

I didn't wanted to start a new thread, so I'm posting here. There's a new documentary about Eric Clapton on the way:

He didn't even give an autograph to my friend, altough they were alone in hotel lobby. I think it's unfair. He forgot that we're his employer.

You're not his boss, he owes you nothing. Imagine that after a show in frotn of 20 000 people each one of them would feel entitled to an autoigraph a personal conversation, a signature on a CD etc etc... Nonsense! eye rolling smiley

What he owes you is to be on time and sober on show day, nothing more. There's a bond between an artist and his audience but the minute the show's over the bond is broken, and each party should go his own way.

You...we...music fans are NOT "employers."

DCBA, you said it all.
