I hope for really 2 good support acts in Zurich and Dusseldorf!

And Zurich should also have Tina Turner as guest star, because she lives there and she has also some Stones connection. >grinning smiley<

Live Nation Norway wrote on Facebook today that the Norwegian rock band Big Bang is opening for the Stones May 26 in Oslo.

This is Conchita Wurst, the Austrian dragartist who won Eurovision 2014
last week in Copenhagen, Denmark. Probably unknown in the US,
though. Which in this case is a good thing...

The choice of Amanda Jenssen as a support act in Stockholm confirms my belief that it's the promoter who proposes a choice of supporting act to them.
I'm sure Sir Michael hasn't got a clue who Amanda is. And I don't think he cares.

I don't think they'll have any support acts on this tour.

Nor do they need them. Never did.

but any music at all is a better alternative than sitting in a field scratching your arse for two or three hours, surely.

....Geeeez Gazza some smart arse guy told me recently that there's some really really good haemorrhoid creams around now days ...

Preparation H makes medicated wipes with Witch Hazel - Maximum Strength Formula - 144 wipes in each box which is great storage for cassettes.

Without a support act Berlin-Waldbühne is a pure daylight concert:
Starting at 7 , ending between 9 and 9:30. On some places (right side and upper seats) you still look in the sun..

Tom

...any news on Berlin, concerning possible opening acts?

Ivan And The Parazol
would be the best choice in Vienna !

they are young
they play great rock and roll a la 60's 70's style
they are the best new young band in Hungary
they play on high energy level
they're Hungarian and lots of Hungarian will attend the Vienna show
they sing in English

Well the reason why I asked for the source is...
... that honestly I wouldn't be surprised at all if Conchita gets a special appearance or something at the Stones gig!

Everybody not living in austria wouldn't believe what's going on in this country since Conchita won the eurovision song contest.

There's a mega mega mega - hype for Conchita at the moment, people go crazy even if they only hear her name!!!

Yesterday more than 10.000 people from all over the country turned up in the city of Vienna just to see Conchita performing 4 numbers & the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation made a direct broadcast of this event!

I've never seen something like this before, there's a 'Conchita-mania' going on these days and - believe me or not - they WILL ask her for an appearance at this very concert...grinning smiley

And crawdaddy I've got one for you too: >grinning smiley<
