He had wonderful hair but he's bald. Started to get thinner in the late 70s, but not really vgisable up until '88 with the bandana and then later in the 90s.

Haven't you noticed? the truth lies in the new song!
'Oh no not you again' - last verse:

"everybody's talking, showing off their wigs..."

he is not wearing a wig, he is just bald, if it were a wig
it would look better than that

Keith was having treatment for his thinning bonce until well into the mid 90's before giving it up as a lost cause, pity he didn't use the same specialist as Bono.

At least he never went down the route of wearing a syrup.

Welcome back, Maverick!
Nothing´s changed here.
Maybe that I´m getting weary of this issue.
Have a nice summer!

Probably a nice mix of both reasons.

Don't you think that Ronnie has unusually thick locks for a man of his age? Especially as the rest of his family are not as well blessed on the folicle side.

I wonder.......

Ronnie uses fertilizer.... washes his hair in cow-shit... quite good.... makes the hair grow very well.....

Didn't work for Bono, because he was already full of shit.....

Ronnie & the other boyz just dip their heads into this thread.
Grows like bad weed.

Have you seen, Mav, even Charlie´s bald now.
At least at the top of the scull.

Btw scientists within the biology-gene field have stated that
hair growth also are inherited from the mother´s side as well.
In contrast to mav I believe that Mickster & Keefster
both have their own hair (with the exception of Jagger´s hardye
& Richard´s occasional fish hooks); but Basil "Joe" Jagger are
bald as a vulture and as I recall that Herbert from Dartford
(Bert Richard, that is; and to be true he was from Walthamsthow)
also was quite hairless at the end.
To predict your own future hair-state, remember to check not only
your own old man´s but also check on your mother´s father.
Mav? If I compare British 60 y o:s and Scandinavian, the former seem
to have more hair than the latter. I´m 41 & most of my contemporaries
are more or less bald or grey. In contrast to myself.

- Maybe you´re talking about yourself:
That may be the whole story.

keith has not and did not have hair implants in the 90s! nor has he had any botox or surgery! people tend to say well look at this pic and then look at this one well... keith is looking every second of his age , shit, its his badge of honor! and if those of you who have wrinkles will attest stick them under bright white lights and you look 30 years older!!!

asfor charlie, he has a very good hair stylist but sadly little hair , ron has that stong gypsy constitution i doubt if he even dyes his hair and mick, well we all know mick but i suspect its real

BECAUSE IM OLDKR

And what is the exact meaning of postin this over and over
- except makin me & others mad... ?
Would you like someone to say that about yourself repeatedly
day & night?
That Mav guy is beyond hope, but you, melillo sounds reasonable at times...

Will it be the bandanna, full hat or the weave of the 90's that Keith resort's to to cover his thinning bonce on the new tour.

Re: Hair implants

if keith doesnt care then why the hats and bandannas and metal in his hair
sounds like a cover up to me

Re: Hair implants

Of course he cares about being a slaphead, why would he have had the failed implants in the 90's, he should speak to Bono and get his hair surgeons name, or even Mick's.

What implants? The progression of his hair loss is pretty obvious & normal over the past 10 or 15 years. So he wears bandanas, onstage, but still there are many pix of him w/ no hat & no bandana & a big smile on his face. And Ron - I'm sure many have noticed he cut his hair during the Euro tour '03. They (RS) look fabulous, unique, like themselves. Maverick why dont you post a recent photo of yourself? Well there, I posted on a thread I've ignored seemingly for months...

I think Keith will have to go with the full hat look this time to cover his bald pallet. Maybe an Edge style beanie?

When will this end........

Keith in an 'f'ing beanie.... now that I would pay to see. It would be like a friggin cross between an old prune and dumbo!

Well if not a beanie, how about a muslim style wrap?

I would suggest a No1 cut, but the reflection from the stage lights would probably cause to much blinding.

Be good if Keith went with a wig for the Stones final hurrah, look both good on the last tour pictures and DVDs, don't really want to remember him as a slaphead.

His hair went a long time ago, if it wasn't for the weave he'd have been bald since the late 80's

Re: Hair implants

He sure doesn't seem to be covering it up in dozens of fotos I've seen (think I said this seemingly weeks ago), & the 'weave' thing doesnt make sense to me either - He does NOT make special efforts (the doo-dads in '99, & headbands, looked terrif) to cover it up, & the loss appears slow & steady. The busiest thread since "I am Drunk", & it just wont go away, what the f&&&

Hair is a funny thing !! Jagger and Ronnie wear wigs for sure. There is no way 60 year old men have hair that thick. If you look closely at keith photos from the current toronto rehearsals he has had some kind of extensions added
