Do the CD or vinyl notes say which musician/singer played what on each song? If so, could someone please post the details here? Thanks! Other credits would good also, mastering, mixing etc.

Yes it does, but there are some mistakes. No sax player is credited on Substantial Damage, for instance..

Ok, this is a start. With the expert knowledge here then maybe we can come up with a difinitive track personnel?

(I would contribute but I only buy audio downloads these days, not cd/albums with artwork, notes etc)

Heartstopper is the greatest Rock and ROLL song in this century

This album is a smooth SMASH IN THE FACE

Keith's album is expected to sell 30-35k in the U.S during the first week, enough for a Top 10 debut on the Billboard chart.
It could be the first Top 10 album for a solo Stone in the U.S, the best peak positions so far are Wandering Spirit #11, She's The Boss #13 and Talk Is Cheap #24)
Main Offender peaked at #99 in 1992.

That's great news.

I disagree and i'm sticking my neck out here, but i think this album will sell well up to Christmas. I am usually right about things like this
Basically he has widened his audience with his biography Life and Pirates
Keith is what i call unique, he falls into many categories, and he is becoming this wise old man, Buddha like character, that appeals to all ages and connects with peoples souls. His music does the rest lol

It depends on your definition of "sell well" ... It might get a holiday boost from the inevitable steep discounting on Amazon around Black Friday, and as kids buy it for their parents and grandparents, like they do with Susan Boyle and Josh Groban records. Grammy attention might also provide a minor boost.

But the PR blitz will die down soon as people's attention turns elsewhere, and it will tumble down the charts. That's just the way it is: no radio airplay, no touring, and limited visibility at what's left of brick-and-mortar retail.

This album may get a slight boost from the Netflix doc- as that will provide some continuing exposure that it otherwise wouldn't receive- but it's still going to have a steep drop in week 2. This is the kind of album that appeals to a niche audience and isn't mainstream or commercial enough to be a relevant presence in the charts. However, a Top Ten debut would still be a big win for Keith and the promotion.

My God, How many packs of Marlboro Reds does Keith need to get through an interview? Four? Perhaps they were just a gift from the hosts to make him feel at home. smoking smiley

Wait till you watch the documentary; you'll need to be fitted with an iron lung.

We don't know that Keith won't tour in Nov Dec it's possible
He certainly has free time until next year
I think although Keith is not mainstream i can see lot of People buying the CD for Mum, Dad, wife, hubby, Boyfriend, Girlfriend etc up until Christmas and sales will add up over time like life did
i could be completely wrong lol

Listening to it again...

sound- and tonewise it has that mature Dylan touch.
Absolutely right for a 70+ year old man.

Next year, when he gets together with that
other 70+ ass wiggler it will be different again... spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

Nothing On Me = Demon Part II for sure. My CD's not here yet so I can't comment on Illusion.

Sorry but the song sounds nothing like Demon other than the phrase of Nothing On Me sounding Similar to Demon in me. Ok it's got 'Me' in it lol
Two totally different tracks imho

Of course they're totally different tracks, but they're definitely related.
The riff in Nothing On Me also reminds me a lot of Randy Whore. Which is fine with me.

I got the Lp's yesterday.
I'm quite impressed: good presentation, good sound and actually some very good songs ! Today my fave is "substantial damage".

Man, the Riff Master still has some lessons to deliver !

1cd with a metal box with guitar picks
1cd with a hooded sweater

Great!!

Don't know if it's been mentioned but, to these ears Illusion is Locked Away and Something for Nothing is Ivy League (You Got It Made)...just my first observation talkin'.

I am not familiar with the track names as you are.

But I am sure you are right

The opening riff of ILLUSIONS is identical to some unfinished song from the Voodoo Lounge sessions (from VOODOO BREW or VOODOO STEW, I am not sure)

and YES, the beginning of Something For Nothing IS deinetely identical to the beginning of YOU GOT IT MADE

Its too bad Keith didnt release You Got it Made, its a terrific song, I cant believe Keith (and the Stones) never released it!

That's the song that got my attention on first playback, and earned a few extra spins.

Then Keith should be very proud!

It's amazing. Loving it. Thanks Keith.
