The version of Bitch on CD2 is absolutely stunning. Stonkingly great. Pulverlisingly stupendous. Wyman is incredible. Taylor is magical. Keith's the riffing machine and the horns just BLOW. Micks vocals are breathtaking. AND CHARLIE? Piledriving. All because Jimmy Miller has provided an awesome, rich, deep canvas that all the players just sweep in and out of with such precision and drive. My new favorite Stones track.

So when are we opening the Great IORR Cut-Out Swap Shop?

I won't have one to trade unless the box appears in the bargain basement way down the line, but boy, am I looking forward to getting my 2-disc version...

By the way, merci beaucoup to pepganzo for that French article.

Be great if the Stones released stems of some of their songs for people to try to remix. If there are any out there, I haven't heard of it.

Love the sound of Charlie's drums on the remixes. Beautiful!

Super Deluxe version is available for download in CD quality on 7digital Germany : [de.7digital.com]

Then it should be available from Monday in lossless CD-Quality (44.1 kHz/16bit, FLAC/WAV) on [www.qobuz.com] as well.

(Qobuz is available in France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, BeNeLux, UK, Ireland)

First of all thanks for the hint. Downloaded the flac version for EUR0 32. When trying to unzip with 7zip, I get the message "zip file invalid". The file is 1 GB. Do you know how to contact 7digital for a download of a valid file?

That's what I'm waiting for too. Most of the time Qobuz prices are cheaper than 7digital ones.

You can start again to download your purchased music if you go to your profile on 7digital. I've downloaded several times the same albums from them in the past (lost music etc.)
Also make sure you have the right tools (winzip, 7zip...) on your computer to unzip (open) the downloaded file.

Looks like a bit of history re-writing going on in the credits in the (otherwise wonderful) book. Keith now plays on both Sway and Moonlight Mile apparently.

Do the cardboard cutouts come with the 2 CD or just the vinyl?

I think that the cut outs come only with the super deluxe box, but you get just one. It's a lucky dip.

You can buy them from the Stones' website though. £5 each.

have you considered that the original credits might have been wrong?

No, Turner... because
1) Keith has never claimed to play on either in the past (at least not 'Sway'),
2) It doesn't sound like Keith is on either,
3) correction: maybe Keith is on Moonlight Mile (see here), but he definitely isn't on Sway (see here).

The Exile re-release credits were also dubious, e.g. Bill Wyman bass on Happy.

I was just listening to the Live at leeds disc (GYLLO) from the boxset and noticed a possible flaw in the first track (JJF) at the 53 sec mark. It's like there is a cut there and the audience becomes extremely loud for a split second. It's really jarring.

Please tell me this is on everyone's copy.

How exactly are the Keith credits listed?

I am a bit curious if Taylor will be getting his royalties for the re-release. After stating they cut him off completely in the past are they going to start paying him again? And if so, doesn't that kind of open up some legal issues with them cutting him off in the first place?

peace

Jagger said in his interview about the song that Keith plays on Moonlight Mile, though he wasn't there when Jagger was working it up with Taylor. He also says by omission that Keith doesn't play guitar on Sway. We know he added vocals.

Maybe it was already mentioned somewhere.. but

why we don't get the full Roundhouse gig?
wasn't the whole gig recorded?
It sounds so good, better than Leeds, so I with I could listen to the full concert,

Didn't know it was two Gigs. But why we don't get the full second gig?
Leeds is also great but the guitars are a bit out of tune what makes it less enjoyable

In that T-Shirt/CD Single pack there was a $2 off coupon for the "Best Buy Exclusive" editions of the Sticky Fingers deluxe and super deluxe. Anyone know what these "exclusive" versions entail?
