Great photos!

That's a fantastic group of portraits - a real historical document that will be interesting to look at in another 50 years' time (for those who are still around by then). Nice collection of T-shirts, too. Was this the 6th or the 13th, or both?

Everyone who was at those shows knew that they might be filmed or photographed for the video, so getting your pic taken by Medzvel shouldn't be a problem.

PS: I know this really belongs in the Hyde Park thread, but I do wish bv wouldn't move things just as I hit Post....

I counted at least three t-shirts in those shots that I have, and there are a few there that I want!

Be my guest - I do the same with the HP July 6th version of GS (at least the one taken by the person who stood near the fence infront of the catwalk)....

I am one of those that walked around with "virtual blue balls" after failing to get tickets with the notorious "7 secons sold out" situation back with the November O2 gigs (got my alternative orgasm by booking a couple of Quadrophenia tickets for Dublin - which was GREAT!). A few month later I got pissed when HP 1st got (officially) sold out, but then was able to "win" HP2, and in a leisurely way I may add.

Looking back I am quite happy with what I got, when I got it and even with my inferior place at the far end of the stage front. I guess I'm just one of those happy with what ever they get.

And it was not just the Hyde Park - the whole area of Bayswater/Paddington. all day, all night, was full of tongue shirts all over the weekend. Never seen so many of them!

But still there is something special with the Stones and London. That occurred to me strong in the Sunday night when I was having my last beer at The Swan pub where many Stones people had met during the weekend. But at that time, around the closing time, I was the only one with a tongue shirt, but there was this troubadour singing for the people. And the very last number was nothing else but "Satisfaction". The whole place just exploded, everyone was sing-a-longing, smiling, many, including the bartenders, were dancing... So natural reaction... That felt great, like finally realizing I had wittnesses something historical in that very place and area, and, you know, how big the Stones really are there. What a great way to end the weekend!
