We should have all these webvotes in the set list tonight.
Perhaps they will see our requests and make some changes.

And then you get MM with only Keith and Ronnie. Don't be surprised and don't have ... no expectations!

True. Drop PIB and ER and stick those in the first half of the set and you'd have one hell of a show.

If they're doing Moonlight Mile tonight, I've gotta get my ass from St. Louis to Philadelphia!!!!!!!!!

(not to mention, the possibility of doing Aaron Neville's cotton commercial jingle

)

I was very impressed with the Philadelphia Stones fans. Just like old times. Mick was on fire. Had to be the fans that lit him up!

If they play Moonlight Mile and leave Mick Taylor backstage I am turning in my fan membership card.

I can't fathom why they wouldn't let Taylor play on one of his signature songs. Then again, it is the Stones. confused smiley

Well, they don't let him play on ADTL.

can anyone give me some guidance on seating....I am looking at section 116 (side view) can anyone tell me if that is an ok seat and if it is better to be a low row # or if higher is better (what with possible obstructions)...

ADTL is a Taylor song too. They must be losing their minds.

I can just feel it... this show is gonna be great... they're gonna blow the roof off the dump!

Gonna have to leave the videocorder at home so I can move around and MAKE SOME NOISE!

Moonlight Mile!? Holy hell... that would be incredible.

They haven't played CYHMK on any show that had a "special guest", have they?

I think they should sub Moonlight Mile for Wild Horses. This is the perfect spot for it!
CYHMK is my webvote!

Indeed, had to vote for CYHMK 'cos that would guarantee Taylor but MM of FTC would be new ones too...and I guess MM might give us Taylor too, although that might validate the claim he wrote it...and they didn't get him to play on SAL or DF, so...

Even better, they should play Hercules - one of the greatest funky r'n'b records of all time.

Thanks for pointing that out, terrific indeed, I hear a bit of Curtis/Marvin/Withers in there, love these guys.

I wouldn't say Mick is a dick. How would he know that he "sent the fans into ecstasy" after Staples 2? I seriously doubt he checks these message boards.

According to Chuck he does [roseandchucktourdiary.blogspot.fr]

It turned out to be a very special show, and the hard cores lit up the Internet and YouTube with positive comments and snippets. Mick thought it was one “…unusual song” too many, but I personally disagreed and thought it was great. Not that he thought the set as a whole didn’t work…he liked it, too and of course liked the fact that the fans were chattering about it.

PS - sorry for the multiple posts, not easy to catch up with all these merged threads ;-)

gotdablouse, I saw that too, great that they know we enjoyed the tunes, even if it is too many "unusual".
Quieter songs such as Far Away Eyes produce a lesser outward crowd reaction, imo.

lol If they actually play Moonlight Mile (which is a longshot) and don't include MT then Jagger will really look out of touch. Jagger is the one who calls the shots in this kind of situation

I see some live versions (1999) on youtube and they are awful. It is difficult to do live so I doubt it will be performed 2013
