That seems to be the general consensus. I was there and it was amazing but can only compare it to the other 5 shows I've attended this tour. I'd call it right there with London 2 and Newark 1.

I was there and turned to my friend after Gimme Shelter -- we both knew something special was happening.

Philly one was one less song. But MR with MT was much better at Phily 1

was it because of the whistling which is very noticable on the bootleg?

Toronto 2 was quite special as well.

out of 18 Shows in the US/CA I saw 7 and Philly 2 was by far the best Show not only for me, but for all the People we met during ourlittle tour and who have seen all the Shows.
Second in the run was for most Anaheim 2.
For Philly 2 it was worth flying back to the US without regretting any Cent. Not only the Quality of performing but also the accustics had been outstanding which also counts for the last Show in Washington DC.

How great for you! I was there too and it was amazing. I can't believe it's been almost a year. Seeing this thread again brings back happy memories.

That Philly show was probably my last of over 50. My first was 7/26/72 (26/7/72 in Europe). Both were great shows.

I listened to that Knocking solo again with fresh ears and it's amazing indeed.
