I think Sure the One You Need is the winner. Not only is it a solo Stone song, but it also was solely written by Keith, thereby giving him a .5 song lead over Mick in the songwriting credit department.

hmmm....it's credited to jagger-richards, you know....

Really? I have a book that's about 99% comprehensive, that gives Keith sole credit.

check the record itself...

No, I'm too lazy. I will instead just concede.....

prolly doesn't apply anymore, but back in the day, regardless of who wrote a song (either mick or keith), by contract both were credited...

Tops. Played once?

I thought it was played at the Philly and Buffalo shows 81.

Plus first show in Boulder. 3 times alltogether.....only at one of the Philly shows.

Oh. Well that's still quite obscure, innit? It's up there...

how about the slow jazz version of 19th Nervous Breakdown from '05 in MSG?

It was fun to be there to hear it once, but no need to repeat it, and I don't think they did.

That was cool, but after it was released recently I'm not sure if it's obscure anymore...

played it in oakland 78, it's on the handsome girls boot.

No. Hound Dog was played in Memphis and Lexington 1978. Not in Oakland

only could find this on utube: [www.youtube.com]

quite sure it's from 78, although just checked the oakland setlist and it isn't mentioned there indeed. timeisonourside also doesn't mention it played in 78. bit confused now.

Oh, you were speaking of Don't Look Back......yes, that one was played in Oakland. And also at about 7 other 1978 gigs

now u've managed to confuse me even more.

i believe the stones, after their much-deserved break following this grueling tour, will embark on the first of several Obscurity Tours. Some songs will be so obscure, that even they won't know what they're playing. Ticket prices will be adjusted accordingly.

Correct, like Lennon/McCartney. However, given that he wrote it by himself, for Ronnie gives it cover. Also, I the original pressings of Metamorphosis, mistakenly give MT credit, can't remember which song, ironically on a song ho SHOULD have been credited on.....cruel.

Now THAT is a show I would acutally pay pretty good money for (as opposed to the current retread snoozer).

Sure the One You Need +1

They should add this one to Keith's set and let Ronnie do some co-lead vocals.

Might As Well Get Juiced or Low Down or Already Over Me

Saw them play Low Down at MSG on the Voodoo Lounge Tour..sounded great! Didn't know how lucky I was thinking they would do this frequently...

That's amazing, because Low Down was released on Bridges To Babylon. You mean they actually premiered this on the VL tour?

It was played quite a few times on the 89 US tour. There is at least one soundboard circulating from the Toronto concert 3rd Sept 89.
