I give a shit about those who still complain ... I´m lucky not to be a musician, just an old fan with bad ears, not able to hear those guys f&$§ing up on stage! Keep on rolling!
I've been reading this thread and I really can't see anything that I'd call complaining. At all. It's a Straw Man. Getting (or gepping) everyone's different take on this is the interesting part and noone should feel they need to censor themselves if they are sharing their honest feelings and observations.
OK, I think you are right with that one ... actually I can´t stand any criticism concerning these songs, I´m just so excited! You know, the thing with the dream come true ....

Being overlooked, unless I'm wrong, is that we NEVER got Sway and Can't You Hear Me Knocking live in the Taylor era.

Due to paper reports, describing CYHMK even before Sticky Fingers even was released, we know for sure that it was performed at the first Newcastle show of 1971. I started a thread about it, 2 years ago.

I gotta say that in comparison to Bigger Bang, they NAILED Sway. Grrrrreat Version. Hope somebody will bring up Far Away Eyes soon.

I'd go this far and say that this CYHMK is perhaps THE best Stones moment ever.

Still I have my doubts about that.

F U C K !
They sound exciting!
Taylor sounds hot and he fires up the whole band. It looks like genuine surprise on everybody's part. "Hey, we can still make MUSIC instead of just performing"
Heartwarming to see and hear the audience is actually very interested in these songs and in the solos. Hope they take the time to keep playing these so they will get even better.
I love that they gave Bernard some real congas to play instead of the Korg Triton they forced him to play fake congas on during Licks.
There's one in every crowd.Quote

You nailed it! Making great music means taking some risks. It paid off especially in CYHMK. And the crowd loved it! More please!
