I've walked/run past Hyde Park's concert several times, believe me, if you're toward the entrance on Marble Arch's side, you can see the screens, and hear decently...

Got a bundle of general admissions tickets at £95 each. Just want to be there regardless.

Can anyone provide me with a link where tickets go on sale friday?
pre-sale tomorrow 9 am if you register for the newsletter.Quote

I think the link is here: [www.bst-hydepark.com]
You can sign up for a newsletter too - not sure if it will lead to any more pre-sales. I doubt it.
As for the "backstage bar thingy", I think I saw details on a site somewhere, but can't find it now. I had hoped for free booze, but I think it's no more than a less crowded bar and clean toilets.

I really would like to see The Rolling Stones in Hyde Park. I saw their concert
back in 1969. I was 15 . Never forgot this "show". What a Party there with official
250.000 . Really thought, that must be 500.000.
Could not see the Stage--but i could feel the Stones! just a party--as I said before.
now I am 60. No seats there?

Sorry if this question has been posted:
Does anybody know whether the Stones play a full show (say, 2 hrs and 20+ songs) at Hyde Park, or is this - as with some festivals - a shorter piece with the groups lined up playing each 1hr or so?

How does that work? I have signed up for the newsletter but can't see anything about a presale.

How close can you get to these concerts with out actually buying a ticket?
I mean, you could go sit in another part of the park and groove to the distant sounds?

Oh well, if it doesn't happen it doesn't - I only want GA anyway so hopefully there will be some of those left even for the un-privileged on Friday.

Jagger tells the BBC, "It (the Hyde Park show) won't be free completely, no. But I'm sure there's still room over the fence for a few free ones... I'm not obsessed with ticket prices."

Well, you can only hope they send out an email tomorrow including another link. At about 6 pm all the registered people at this point have received a mail including a personal pre-sale link. The thing is that your address is part of the URL so each link does only work once.
