I have just attended the gig at Le Trabendo in Paris.
The last time I saw the Stones was in Lyon in 2007.
The to-night concert was outstanding. The Stones were great. The sound was perfect. The venue was small and nice. It was full but not overcrowded.
Darryl Jones held the bass. He was really good. However, lots of people in the audience would have liked to see Bill Wyman on stage.
Chuck Leavell was there. There was no brass section.

The set list was:
Route 66, It's Only Rock 'n' roll , Shattered, When The Whip Comes Down, Champagne and Reefer, Doom and Gloom, Miss You, Tumbling Dice, Start Me Up, Midnight Rambler,
encore: Jumpin' Jack Flash, Brown Sugar.

The Stones were great. Some people had said that the Stones were getting too old.
Actually, to-night they were all perfect on stage. Ronnie Wood made beautiful solos. Charlie Watts was drumming good and often smiling. Mick Jagger and Keith Richards are still great performers.

The Stones are still rolling very well.
I hope to see them again next week.

Hello people, heres a pic, im sorry but I dont know who took this!
Im sure is Ronnie's setlist. I can identify some guitars as "SS is a Sunburst Strato, "Bben is a Black Esp", but "Romeo" and "N Old or N/O", i dont know exactly.

Someone who was in the gig can help? Or someone else who knows?
The other image is from a other gig with The Faces only to compares...

Thanks, and ROCKS ON!! The guys are together again!

Gretz from Brazil!!!

Is that John Rhys-Davies on the right? If it is we should worry. The KGB is doing security.

Wow! Sounded like a perfect deal. If there is any show I'd love to see by The Stones nowadays, this had been it. I could have easily paid even more than 15 Euros...grinning smiley A small club, just six of them, a good set list and enough long. Happy for the people who had the chance to experience it!

Even the reviews naturally might be a bit rosey-glassed due to the obvious thrill (who can be too analytical if the band is playing in front of you?!>grinning smiley<), it is wonderful to hear that Keith is doing fine.

Now there would be a great opportunity to release this gig as the last - or better: an extra - item of the bootleg series. Surely it would not have much a significance in a long run, but now when everything is hot at the moment, I think it would sell rather well (hear that, Mick?). It would gather some positive fuss around the fanbase (and perhaps even more generally), giving a glimpse of the band back-to-the basics before the Vegas mood is turned on (no over-lapping there, being so dfferent than the 'real' shows), and, most of all, give a chance for hardcore fans to have part of the fun who do not belong to that those privilged 250.

Damn fine to see The Stones something positive for a change.thumbs up
