I love that they've stayed current again, those drums are nothing like they've done before. The main riff is okay, but the guitar fills are just great.
Is that really Charlie on drums??? Sure it's not Frank Beard on the sequencer?

Then it smashes your senses to pieces.

Perfectly producted...modern sounding yet enough restraint to still make it sound like a garage band. Well done all around. A ridiculously catchy tune that does the job very nicely. Mick is in fine form and Charlie is pumping away brilliantly. Love the breaks in the middle, and the solo by Ronnie was very very fresh. Keith seems absent on this except for a few chords here and there (more apparent in the beginning)...but I'm sure he'll come through on "One Last Shot."
Now...just waiting for it to pop on iTunes......

Ok, I know I'm going to get a fair amount of abuse for this but still....
First of all, it's a good song. Could've been amazing.
However I am not impressed at all with the pro-tools cut and paste type recording. All the guitars are cut and pasted. The drums are looped. Ugly.
Was Charlie not available that week?
Are we not able to record one complete take of a song these days?
I'm running out of reasons to tell myself these guys shouldn't hang it up.
I never wanted to be one of those people. These guys are my heroes.
Please don't try and convince me this recording technique is an artistic one.
