Then the Stones could have doubled their output since the last ten years.

It is just silly old stonestroll doing her thing, as usual, poor old thing.

The point is there is no point. It's interesting: the first one is the hard album, the zsecond one the quiet one.

Anyone here still think the author of this thread is some kind of "insider"?

If he would be remotely critical of something to do with Stonesworld--just remotely so, just for once, the way a real and actual fan would--then I would say no, he couldn't after all be an employee on the PR payroll. Not that there's anything wrong with that... it must be a great job, if it's what one loves to do.

I for one won't have "Sweet NeoCon" excluded, even if I do not hold it to be among the very best songs of the album. However, in my view it is an important song. The only way that would be acceptable to me not to include it in the album, was if it had been made part of a single.

[As to the principle: There are two or three songs that to me make A BIGGER BANG's preceding album less great than it could have been. I would not take those tracks away from others, when the band themselves have found them appropriate. ]

Always have, always will. And a horrible insider at that. Awful.

Two above average albums are always better than one average one. For starters.

Yes, exactly. Another good reason. Probably would have been much less bitching about output around here if they had released the second one in 2009 for example.

Max's KC, love your sense of humor and your loyalty to the Stones. Sometimes family members give us the most pain but we can never quit on them. Lots of quitters around here. You are not one of them and I am sure the Stones know who you are. smileys with beer

So you see a point after all. Do up a compilation in the order given and it starts to make some sense. One album that was a bit scattered becomes two that have some semblance of cohesiveness. Sweet Neo Con never belonged on that album or any album for that matter. It's by far the worst Stones song ever. Under The Radar is a great song.
