I have finally come to the realization that my heart is with the "Beatles Family" and no longer with the Stones.

Why leave?

Just change your name to beatlescrow.

I hate you GravityBoy...I rack my brain for the most excellent skewering post and you slide in with this jewel. I love it!

Is this guy for real? This is an adult person whining like this? The Stones don't owe him or any other fairweather fan more than they've given over the years.

Thank you for your thoughts, stonescrow.
Go F#%# yourself.
Good riddance.

Quite right.

If this helps, I'll email you a Beatles wig. I heard Stones wigs
have skin mites.

Actually, it is possible for the brain to like more than just one band at a time. Giving up one is not particularly necessary. In a way, it's all part of it.

Sadly, I think Stonecrows somewhat dogmatic assertiveness got the better off him. When there is very little positive news to hold on to you will yield sooner or later.
I mean what is the next piece of news: Stones tour pushed back to 2015?

Considering the beatles. A while ago I finally got my records back upstairs and I noticed I actually had them besides Help and Abbey Road. So I played some, but it sounds so dated to me. I just feel a bit embarrassed listening to it. I wouldn't play when friends are here for instance.
Compare that to say Between the Buttons. It's here to stay and just as great as it was when I was 15.

deactivating his account, he will be back, they always come back.

"waiting around for the Stones to throw a few bones our way."

And The Beatles have done what since 1970? We can argue Exile versus Sgt. Peppers and whether the setlists were stale and the quality of the newer Stones albums till we are blue in the face but you can't argue that one band stuck around for decades while the other packed it in in 1970. I think even Beatle fans are envious of Stones fans in this regard.

"Lyin' awake in a cold, cold sweat. Am I overdrawn, am I going in debt?
It gets worse, the older that you get. No escape from the state of confusion I'm in.

I love the Beatles and would never slag them. However you're right IMHO, they do sound more dated than the Stones of the same era.
