Who's the little kid?

Ronnie introduced him as "my mate Luke" (or maybe Luka or Lucas) and they played a little bit of "Mannish Boy" together - don't think he's a grandchild but maybe another family member?

ah, well. but, these guys are old as the hills...rocknroll is for the young 'uns...off to see some kids play it in a bit...

I'm sure you're jokin'! It was for the young 'uns in 1965! But now that Bill Wyman isn't even dying his hair anymore--lucky for 'im he's still got hair to dye if he chose...

I think he was called Luka. Looks like a request came through from Luka & his family to play a little guitar with RW on stage. They were sitting in the stalls later in the concert, I noticed them as everyone was walking out.

mixed feelings at the apollo last night. a truly great ronnie wood, really inspired and focused, an histrionic band leader, a great guitar player not so well supported by most of his friends. I've really enjoyed ronnie alone with his guitar, 15 minutes worth ticket price. I was trepidant to see on the same stage ronnie, mick T and bill but unfortunately mick taylor was not between us, really a shadow of the player I've admired last year at the ambassador. even bill wyman was not on top form, a bit dull. but the worst came from "his friends", a chaotic band, mostly uninspired, not well rehearsed - missed most of the finals and IORR changes completely - without any dynamics, in which everyone seemed to play or sing for him/herself and not for the song. just the female singers delivered good renditions of the songs played. and "the worst of the worst" james mccartney! why did ronnie call him? horrendous!!!
a show that, ronnie apart, left me with a bitter taste.
my 2 cents
ciao
m.

It was his new signature bass, which is loosely based on his old modified Dallas Tuxedo bass.

Well that's not so bad, I think I prefer it to the final version he cut out as it looks a little awkward and amateurish. He could have kept the Les Paul shape and just re-finished it, perhaps redesigned the scratchplate.

I did a similar bodge job many years ago when I was about 18 - I used an old guitar neck and made the body out of a piece of mahogony, then fitted a pickup and other parts. The body was a Les Paul shape and I had in mind Keith's Zemaitis guitar from the 1970s, except my version was just dark wood with no inlays. It didn't play very well and the neck wasn't perfectly straight but it was a fun project.

Thanks for posting. =Ain't Got A Home.
So I assume from that clip that they swapped the two tracks from the encore
(as we can hear Ronnie Wood starting IORR at the end of it).

Does anybody know who the female blonde singer with the leopard trousers is?

I didn't like the introduction with Ronnie playing on his own, "listen to that riff... oh and I know this one as well", was a bit boring.

Then, I found that there way were too many musicians, it was more of a big band, 2 drummers, 3 guitar players... 2 keyboards... wtf ?

As it was a Chess Records theme I wish they had been a bit more chatty about that and their memories, Bill especially...

However Ronnie was really good, Bill was enjoying the moment as well, I was amongst those who made their way to the first rows and got to shake his hand at the end, he looked genuinely happy to be on stage and I can't see why he wouldn't reunite with the rest of the band for the final tour next year.

PS: I hate seated gigs.
