I too love the art of harmony vocals and back-up vocals (I believe there is a difference in the way they are approached). The Beatles were great but what I love about the early Stones is Keith is just just off key enough to make interesting and just a bit higher to let you know that there is another singer. I have read stories that Keith had "Perfect pitch" as a youth and was in a boys choir taht preformed for the Queen.
Back to the question, I can't believe that no one has mentioned Ruby Tuesday and my favorit, Mixed Emotions.
I have to say, when I was playing in bands, I stole a whole lot from Keith's slightly off key, slightly delayed harmony style and I also love what Sambora does with Bon Jovi and Little Steven does with the Boss as well.

No way, I am certain that Keith sings the backing vocals in Brown Sugar (but I do know that many of the later backing vocals that sound like Keith are actually Mick - Chris Kimsey said in an interview that Mick does a better "Keith vocal" than Keith!

july 17th 1964 - the Joe Loss Show. yeah that is a wonderful rendition -
i wanted to mention it, but the original poster wanted studio tracks
and that was one of those "live for the radio" scenarios.
well, it was a radio studio, wasn't it, so ... yeah that one!
he backed himself up on All About You as well
and the unforgettable You Got It Made :E
and yeah, his work on Ronnie's albums: that thing he does of just touching the lines with his voice
like no other, baby - like no other can

My favorite Keith backing vocals were on many of the Some Girls tracks ... until I found out that Mick did most of the background vocals on that album.

One of the hi Mick BU vocals that'should' be Keith is on "100 Years Ago" in the slow break on "ain't got no time to waste", and on all the "don't you think" throughout the song.
