Remixed Brussels Affairs - anyone bought it?
Posted by: micwer ()

Has anyone bought it? Is it worth spending $7 for the "remixed" download? I'm wondering...

If I was to buy a download I chose FLAC, but I don't pay for downloads…

It's actually $4.99 on Google Music.

Would you rather spend over $100 to go see them live on a new tour? That's a rip off.

Is it worth $7 - are you nuts? It's $7, not an overpriced ticket to see A Bigger Bang.

Well, I have the CD in 3 different formats and I already have it on my iPod. So unless the mix is really different, I don't see the point in buying it again. I spent enough money on Stones' stuff already this year ...

It is quite different. Great mix and some different sources. I think this is all from the 2 Brussels shows, no Wembley. Definitely worth $5!

The mix is different. Sound is clearer and cleaner I'd say. Pretty much like on recent UMG remasters. FLAC is worth the price.

The remix on the samples sound great, better kick drum sound on some songs. It also sounds like different versions of some songs including a sb. Star Star.
This is fantastic news! If they really opening up the vaults I can't wait to see what is next. I hope this opens up for North America.

Just bought it! Great sound, very clear and crisp.

Lots of different versions from the Brussels-boots I have.

I just bought the MP3s for $7. From what I've heard so far, it's well worth the expense!

This Heartbreaker version starts out a bit loose, but really turns into a killer in the middle and throughout!

I'm having problems with this as well. Paid for it via paypal, but when I click the 'download' button all I get is 'mydownload manager' which I can't open. No response from their 'customer services' - rip off!!
