I burned a CD from the Google MP3 files and got very smooth transitions and no pops at all.

Good to know
Did you use their 'music manager'?

I used Roxio.

On stonesarchive.com you can see both the mp3 and Flac available. At the moment, the FLAC is available only for non-US residents.

Sounds amazing, simply amazing. Can't believe it, the gates are open now... :-)

I had to install Apple's version of Java on my Mac, a bit longwinded but got there in the end. Download was straightforward, listening now on my ifone.

Midnight Rambler from Brussells is so familiar to me, but listening to it now so clear... almost sounds like a different performance from this tour, I hear bits I didn't hear before.

I'd rather pay 1000 $ to see them live again than to pay 7 $ to get a download from a show I already have, without even a booklet!

ha...your loss folks.

This is one HELL of a recording. The sound is better than you've ever heard. How anyone can stick with their bootlegged copy over a recording remixed from the original source tapes with an impeccable Bob Clearmountain mix is mind boggling.

@#$%& booklets.

especially when it's the 2ND Brussels show

People haven't heard this

And I would think a LOT of people won't bother to download this thing; because they think it's the "Brussels show we've had for ages". So it's a big mistake of Rolling Stones to not make it clearer that this is a DIFFERENT show. They'd sell a lot more downloads if they had done that.
Just look at the confusion at the "Hot Stuff" section. People passed on this download; in sheer disappointement of it being such a "well known recording".

Well isn't it a combination of BOTH shows...not completely just one full show? "Brown Sugar" certainly is from the original bootleg as we know it.

From the official site:

The new edition, pulled exclusively from the two Brussels gigs, was taken from the original multi-track masters recorded by Andy Johns on the Rolling Stones Mobile Studio. Longtime Stones collaborator Bob Clearmountain applied the final mix.

All in all it's too good to be true, maybe the best 9 Dollars of my life. It IS a hell of a recording and I'm beginning to think about having it cut on vinyl for my personal use. Would rather have it on disc and not on my i_Phone confused smiley

This is insane! What a week! If you worrying about $9 (£5.50) please don't, the sound is phenomenol and it's mainly live '73 that we haven't heard before, what more do you want?
Boom!
See you all next year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cut on vinyl for personal use ? My god what an idea...I'd love to have it myself; even though it's not analog in the first place
But I'm guessing that within a few months, it will be pressed to vinyl by the bootlegers; and available on the interenet.....and probably a lot less expensive than pressing just "1 copy" for oneself.

Great time for Stones people!
I don't have it yet. Just one thing: "only Brussel" means that the fantastic Street F. Men version from London is missing now? Would be a bit sad as its so much better than the known Brussels versions . .
