This should be the easiest $5 any Stones fan should spend.

This new edition, pulled exclusively from the two Brussels gigs, was taken from the original multi-track masters recorded by Andy Johns on the Rolling Stones Mobile Studio. Longtime Stones collaborator Bob Clearmountain applied the final mix.

So there you have it: BS and MR and the solo in ADTL are from the first show, all the rest including Heartbreaker is from the second show.

I just got the flac version $9 - by Stones standards ,a f**king bargain!

Is there going to be any artwork to d/load. It seemed to be mentioned in the blurb for the archive site, but there is nothing there ?

I'm glad it not exactly the same bootleg show we all have . SUPERB !

Maybe USA can have it later.
With all the share sites though the impulse buy may have just suffered a crushing blow.

There's a demon running in me right now, yes I can see that - it must be the act of surprise with these news on IORR today....it caught me completely off guard. I'll get a doctor's appointment, and hope he's able to help

Listened to about half already. It sounds pretty great. Very punchy - especially the drums. Feels like they mixed Taylor down just a bit that may be me, I like him loud. Even though this is about the 8th time I've either bought or downloaded a different version of this show (don't ask), seems well worth it. One of their best.

Agreed but it doesn't work for me in Europe. Why ??????
For some it works, and for some others not...
I've checked and tried at least 5 times...and failed.
Just wonder now if they will answer to my message and if I will get a refund as I couldn't download it.

I just read the entire Mocambo show will be available next for $85.00.
Figures. Canada only it says.

Can't remember where I read that.

But seriously.....which shows will we think follow ?
I thought the Brussels 1973 show (+ Houston/Philadelphia 1972) material was NOT allowed to release, because of their deal with DECCA concerning live material from 1970-1975. Obviously, a "download" is OK for them....or something; since we now get Brussels 1973.

My guess on what they'll pull out.....Philadelphia 1972; Toronto OR San Francisco 1975 (since they allready had listened to, and mixed some of them shows for Love You Live), Hampton 1981 and El Mocambo 1977. Let's see if those guesses are true.

Dammit Erik.
I'm trying to be serious.

Oh heck...how about Knebworth. They have the nice Wild Horses available (to some countries)...

something from the dirty work tour would be nice. why they have kept a tight lid on those shows is beyond me.

I thought about that one as well......but if Jagger really sat down and listened to the entire show (now), I think he'd back out of it; due to some terrible mistakes and singing.
And that drag of a Midnight Rambler and Street Fighting Man.....good grief

Then again; maybe he doesn't bother to listen to it all, before saying "yes"....and think that it's probably an OK concert; since "Wild Horses worked out so nice".

Its only because tickets were so hard to get for that tour.
They don't wanna hurt any feelings...

I hope the Stones will make 10 million bucks with this release. Then Jagger sure will decide to make every 1969 to 1982 show available for $7 per show!

Wish they'd release Pittsburgh 1972 next...Killer show that deserves better sound/mix.

Yes, here's hoping the same. Allthough I doubt that many people will download this; apart from us who's reading messageboards.
I mean....if there was a Bowie concert or Roxy Music concert from the 70s being available like this....then I'd never get to hear about it being available in the first place....which would be my and their loss.
Let's hope they promote this thing well.....in.....musicmagazines...hey, there's nobody buying musicmagaines anymore....but promote it *some*where at least.
