This will be the last tour (IMHO). Last time - 2007? - they added SWAY and SHE WAS HOT after we bitched about it long enough so I think "someone" from the Stones checks out IORR from time to time. CrissCrossMind, I agree, Empty Heart is a true great track, but sorry to dissapoint you, regardless of any setlist that has been printed, Empty Heart was played at the second concert in Perth 65. I was there. Those days the Stones on quite a few occasions changed setlists to suit the concert.

Many of those that have not - particularly the older stuff - is not really suitalble for the Stones of now as much as I like some of it.
Only a few that could be interesting, - without ruining the original!

We tried this in 2007 - a poll conducted on Rocks Off and here - to get the band to play something fresh as a fan favourite - after we were approached to do so. The results were then relayed to the band.

I think the songs that topped the polls were Let It Loose and Out of Time.

In the end, they didnt bother.

Well, one song they NEED to stay away from big time is STRAY CAT BLUES. Was fine when Mick was a young rocker back in 1969 but now it's a lot different, doesn't sit well with a 50 year age difference. CCMind

PS A lot of good lists so far. HIGHWIRE seems popular....BTW, EMPTY HEART would only work if it was updated to NOW with some raw and dirty guitar playing. The original is far too dated sounding IMO. It can be done, my stupid little band did it a few years ago in rehearsals....

GAZZA, LET IT LOOSE would be great IMHO, OUT OF TIME maybe not as much. I would think the Stones camp follows ROCKS OFF and IORR, no? They'd be smart to do it. #1, bring back the 1999 "Simple Stage" along with MOONLIGHT MILE, that one was beautiful....

"Rough Justice" Far away the best lead track off a Stones LP in many a year.

Disagree re: Out of Time. A song that EVERYBODY knows and a chorus thats absolutely perfect for a large-scale singalong.
