I am trusting, if a person says they dont get paid to post, then I believe them... enough said.

1) we are not trusting. we don't believe you. we think you are paid to
disrupt any thread that is not going the way your employers want it to go,
with the same crap over and over.

2) we freely admit that we are a paid-to-post writing team located in
mumbai. and such brilliance does not come cheap. seven chickpeas per word,
a half kilo of rice per illustration, doled out weekly from the back of
ar rahman's limousine.

Who are we?

nocomment has, since he started posting here, consequently used the form "we" on nearly everything he has written. I just wondered who "we" are.

Yes, there is camaraderie between them, no doubt about it. But I'm wondering why does Damian never participate in these joint interviews. He's too cool for that?

You are attacking "nocomment" in his defensing post against such unbelievable insinuations done by "Max".

BTW. I don't like these "we-things", too. I'm a teacher of rhetoric art and I've told this to many, many students, may be 40 years now ...smoking smiley

ok, I understand. I picked this post randomly. So I'm sorry if I came across as someone attacking or defending anyone. I had no such intentions.

I'm a journalist myself, so that's why I was bugged about the rhetoric tricks there in the first place smiling smiley

If Damien Marley had been present for the interview, I don't think he would have fitted on that already cramped sofa. "Chasing the spark", Mick seemed to love that idea.

He looks a little shy and constrained between Mick and Joss ...

So how and where to place him?

After several listening, I can say that the album is decent overall and I especially like the ballads such as Beautiful People, Never gonna change and in a lesser measure Miracle Worker. With that said, my feelings are :

- There's no hit in that record

- Rockers suck and sound caricatural

- They definitely should have called themselves " SuperRaggae " rather than Superheavy.

Well, in fairness, I would call Miracle Worker a hit song, and imo Beautiful People could be as well. The album is mediocre at best, though.

I did wonder if the foreboding "I Don't Mind" with it's calm before the storm lyrics disrupted by the shattering sound of airplanes overhead isn't supposed to recall 9/11. At first I was struck by the lyrical similarity to "As Tears Go By" but now it seems a particular time and place record to me. I'll be curious if Mick ever comments on the lyrics anywhere.

Just as a reminder, we earlier speculated Damian has at least temporarily
pulled back support for this project because of Jagger. We also speculated,
without evidence, that was the same reason Joss, the evening of this interview,
bailed out on the launch party. Jagger seems to have turned the whole SuperHeavy
thing into a launch party for Some Girls, and only time will tell which set of
conflicting appearances are deceiving, Jagger's camaraderie or Jagger's betrayal of it.

I liked it from the first listen, and it is actually growing on me.

I think the variety of styles, and the energy level just make it very interesting.

I know I said I was going to have to wait six months, but I believe I can say now that I like it better than Wandering Spirit, as much as I love that album.

I can say that I'm listening to this MORE OFTEN, than I was listening to Wandering Spirit when it first came out.

Great new vid from Dave Stewart, in which he practices his
"Miracle Worker" character, just in case NoComment is right
and Jagger's services are no longer required...

I wish he didn't have a comment. Problem is he has way too many comments to make.
