I read it like "Only if this time you promise not to scream if Mick pops unannounced. grinning smiley

I remember Gazza saying before: "I would be disappointed if no other Stone turns up!"
I said: "Dream on, mate!"

And then Mick turned up....one of the greatest surprises of my life.

Oh man, this looks good.

hope the crowd are better than the last time he played Shepherds Bush. The gig was good but it was like playing to a room full of zombies.

More important: Does anyone know how many tickets there will be
(minus those that go to Ronnie´s inner circle)?

Thats the problem in a nutshell. Ronnie probably 'knows' more celebrities and hangers on than any musician on the planet. Doesnt augur well for a venue that only holds around 400 people.

Don't bank on the first several rows being cheap.

S**t !! Here we f***ing go again, "fanasylum" or some other bunch of wheelin' n' dealin' racketeers getting stuck in. Makes me sick. Then throw in the usual crowd of ebay & Seatwave speculators who have no interest in attending, only an interest in scalping, and all in all - it might just make getting a ticket of any variety (let alone a good one) a bit of a tough gig ? Hope not, just being realistic ... even if maybe a bit pessimistic.

With only 17 rows in the stalls and just 10 in the circle, there is hardly a poor seat in the house. As the saying goes, it will be 'good to be there' no matter what seat you may be in.

having seen various shows at his theatre, i can confirm that it is indeed small and intimate.
ll be packed with coke-snorting D-list celebrities and the likes of you and me will struggle to get in through the regular ticket agency routes.

Ronnie Wood needs no introduction to any fan of British rock music. Starting his career with The Birds and then Creation, it was when Ronnie joined the Jeff Beck Group that he truly started to stamp his identity on the music world. After that group split, Ronnie – along with Rod Stewart - joined up with ex-Small Faces Ronnie Lane, Ian McLagan and Kenney Jones in The Faces. Whilst Ronnie [and Rod] moved on after a couple of years, The Faces are viewed by all rock fans as a truly classic band; and in fact they perform a handful of dates in 2010 with Mick Hucknall on vocals. After the release of his first solo album, Ronnie was invited to join the Rolling Stones - in 1975 – and remains with them to this day.

Good old Ronnie. Keepin' it real. £300 a ticket to see Ronnie Wood premiere new solo material, with the tease that a few unnamed special guests *might* show up and the promise of a Cd which is worth about £9, a worthless laminate and 'free' drinks

You honestly couldnt make this shit up.

This is a disgusting offer, RW's management must be totally mad, I would be surprised if there are 300 people in London who pay that amount of money for a few minutes of RW solo songs.

You said it, his management IS totally mad. This latest manifestation of insanity follows on the heels of the offer of "dinner with Ronnie" if you spent $25,000 on his artwork. Remember that one ?

Ronnie, if you yourself, or anyone who has sensible influence over you, ever dives onto IORR and reads stuff like this thread ........ GET A DECENT F***ING MANAGER and ditch the tasteless dips**t who dreams this kind of garbage up.

Signed ... a FAN !!

Youre absolutely correct - as is Pauly - but the number of tickets in rows 3-6 in a 400-seat theatre probably number no more than about 50-60. So, maybe 100-120 in total for the two shows.

Expect probably at least half the tickets to go to various hangers on, leaving the remaining non-fan asylum tickets for the 'ordinary' punter. You're looking at a total of maybe 300 tickets being available through that theatre website (interesting that they havent announced the price yet) for the two shows.

No doubt, once Fan Asylum realise that even they have overestimated the stupidity of Stones fans for this one, their surplus tickets will mysteriously become available at a special price nearer showtime (probably through a broker), as was the case for the first few rows at the 02 in '07.

We're talking about a gig that may not run for much more than an hour (the Drury Lane gig was 70 minutes, but at least we only paid about £35 for that one), especially as he is playing two shows just three hours apart, and will be used to showcase his new album. And for which most people are probably going in the hope - not promised or guaranteed - that the likes of Mick, Keith or Rod may show up.

I do think the 'public' tickets will be reasonably priced - but the message is pretty clear, ie "If youre not a celeb or dont have huge pots of money, we want as few as you there as possible"

As Pauly mentioned in a text he sent me just a minute ago, this kind of nonsense doesnt bode well for the next Stones tour in the unlikely event that they play a few smaller venues.

Just to scream in the church.
The management isn't totally mad.
It's just what a bunch of artists do these days.
Let some pay a bit extra for a great ticket.
Stones, McCartney, now Ronnie etc.

Get me wrong or not. I would love to go back to the Licks tour
when we sat up all night pressing F5/Refresh to get great
seats. But when artists don't sell records any more...
Gotta find a way to get paid. Ugly but...
