UH .... your comments are both flattering and gratifying in equal proportion, and I thank you. However, rest assured that I have not as yet descended into British Airways induced mental illness, least of all the variety that requires heavy medication and/or hospitalisation. I of course further thank you for your concern ... bless you.

Booking a venue so far in advance (if it happens to be true) is just a sign that they think about touring. As far as there is no money paid or contract signed (which usually happens very late), it's not a proof that they will tour.
I know for sure that different venues have been booked in France during the last two years by the Who, and finally nothing happened.
Mick looks good and Ronnie is indeed in a great shape considering the videos i've seen with the (new) Faces, but we don't know a lot about Keith.
3 for me, i'm not very optimistic when i remember the 2007 show in Paris or the last o2 concert.

6...and I doubt it will be anything resembline ABB (thank god) I bet they only do 2 or 3 stadiums in each country and not the amount of countries they have previously covered.

yea'..Well in the last few months with a few public appearances by The Stones and some solo stuff by Ronnie and a book by Keith..yea' I've become more than just a bit confident now.I'll go as far as to say.. its an all most certainty a Tour is on.. yea'...Im a 10 out a 10er..

I was sure until I read some of Keith's book and the reviews and saw a few interviews. I'd have to say it's a 50/50 proposition now, and it depends on exactly how pissed off Mick is. Will the desire for the $$ outweigh the anger and will Charlie be convinced that all of the inconveniences are worth it in the end. The big question is will they be able to get insurance with Ronnie being so much of a liability...we can guess all we want, time will tell.

And really, what the hell does our confidence have to do with anything? It's exactly like praying - it has nothing to do with anyone else yet alone reality. Either they will or they won't.

But seeing that Ronnie has been bonkers and Keith has been writing about Arkansas and Mick is nowhere on Google - why would anyone even start to think to believe that they are or will tour?

We'll have a better idea sometime in - and just for Sweetcharmedlife - '011 of whether or not they will tour.

Keith has always wanted to go out.
Mick has implied it's on.
Charlie will go.

If they'd "like to" ... then what's to stop them ? I don't follow your logic here. Why the disparity between them "wanting to" and them actually "doing so" ?

Maybe not ALL of them will be willing to tour
Charlie for instance might be reluctant
Mick's motivation will IMO depend on the shape of the others compared to him

My guess is that they'd rather not tour than put up a lousy tour like Whitney Houston.

The motivation of all of them will depend on the money.

I give a 7. Better than average chance, but no guarantee.
