i was a huge fan of byke.
now i don't trust them anymore, they are all full of doping and i cannot see
they want to clean up their sport.
So, sometimes i watch it, but with the same attidute as you can watch wrestling or animals in the zoo.

It has always been that way, just like in athletics. Now they seem to have it regulated rather well. Hopefully in the interest of the health of the bikers.

BTW: Hansie, if it's not too personal (I guess not): do you really live in between the hills, in South Limburg? My mother and her family do come from Heerlen. But my mother never spoke with a Limburgian accent. Do you (if it's not too personal oc)?

At the very moment Schleck had material problems (while attacking and leaving Contador behind!) and Contador saw it he profited and accelerated. Just saw it in my room with tvcool smiley

Carlitos, please show some courtesy. You saw what happened with Schleck ? If so it is impossible that you are proud now for Contador taking the yellow jersey. If you haven't seen it, just wait and watch the replay on TV.

I think the distance between Le Col d'Aubisque and Pau is too long to be decisive. But indeed you never know. Thanks for the info Hansie.

My exact thoughts, but just seeing the names of all those famous mountains, Peyresourde, Aspin, Tourmalet and Aubisque, all together in one stage. Man that makes my heart beat faster. Can't wait until tomorrow.

Sram is crap. I've always considered it American trash. I can't believe professional cyclists use their products. Just buy Shimano. Or Campagnolo, if you must.

And Contador just goes on to prove that he is NOT in the same league as great champions like Merckx and Hinault, who wouldn't even want to win like he did today.

When Budweiser sponsored that one Stones tour 5-6 years ago
I jumped on board and bought the neons signs and mirrors and
other Bud lights etc etc ..and I drank a LOOOOOOT of Budwesier.
and yeah ..yeah yeah .. I heard it a million times... Bud is a BS beer catz piss ..whatever..

anyway...
A few years ago when AB sold out to the international conglomerate, BUD WAS FIRED!!! FKNFIREDFKU!!!!

We searched high and low for a new beer ..... trying many mnay brands....but...
lo and behold we found my new beer in my own back yard. [www.blvdbeer.com]
Boulevard brewing company's "Unfiltered wheat" made right here in Kansas City.
It is actually brewed about 5 miles from my house. smiling bouncing smiley drinking smiley spinning smiley sticking its tongue out thumbs up smileys with beer

anyway ...boring story ...but you said what you were drinking ..so I said too,
It is not widely distributed,,,but that is OK with me .....and we live happily ever after.
btw- On the rare occasions I have to drink a Budwesier, indeed it is not that good of a beer.

PS
anyone wanna buy some Budwesier/Rolling Stones Neon Lights and/or other Bud/Stones swag?

From the official Tour de France website
[www.letour.fr]

Summary of the race
A Dropped Chain Costs Schleck Dearly…

Just as he was making a bid for time gains on his chief rival, Andy Schleck’s bike bucked him out of the yellow jersey. He had made the decision to attack Alberto Contador with about three kilometers to climb on the Port de Bales and although he opened up a solid advantage, he ultimately lost the battle because of a mechanical problem. His chain dropped and got wedged between his crank and the bottom bracket. Not only did her nearly crash, he had to do an emergency repair on a bike that was the same color as the jersey he would ultimately surrender in unfortunate circumstances.Contador was not going to wait around while Schleck repaired his bike and he had the support of one of the best descenders in the world for the 21km downhill to Luchon. Samuel Sanchez joined forces with Contador and Menchov to put time into Schleck who got to within 22” of the rider who began the stage 31” behind but ended it eight seconds ahead. The battle for yellow is far from over!

Edit: Actually a very nice website. That is if you are interested in the Tour de France. You will find, interviews, videos, reports etc. They even have a gadget that allows you to follow every stage with live timings, standings etc.
