roundnround must be ahead of his time but in case you didn't know we are due to hear it soon.....see the STICKY also...<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<This news comes directly from Ben Waters and explain also the recent rumours of Bill with the rest of the band:

IAN STEWART ALBUM

Well I can't quite believe it - the album is finished! Mixed by Glyn Johns who I have to say was fantastic, one could see why he has produced some of the best records in recent decades. I am so over the moon with the album and I believe its a fitting tribute to one of my all time favourite pianists. Everyone has played their hearts out for Stu and there is a really magical track. Bob Dylans "Watching The River Flow". All of the Rolling Stones including Bill Wyman have played on this track, they came together for Stu and it sounds amazing. Sir Peter Blake is now working on the front cover

The Album is due for release on the 9th March 2011!!!!!!!>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Worried About You

I think that Wild Horses would be the last "slow song" played with passion.

Re: Stones Last Great Slow Song?

Down In The Hole is a slow song, and definitely played with passion. How Can I Stop is the last great ballad, played with passion, imo.

Perhaps about passion would be a better...

Dangerous Beauty

Speaking of this song, I was flipping through the channels last night (really late at night) and heard Dangerous Beauty being played as the background track for an infomercial for some exercise equipment or something. That may be a new Stones low.

I'd vote for Always suffering. Great vocals, great production/sound and a killer solo!

Apart from that one there are lots of other great ones alle the way from 62 til ABB.

I'm one of the few people who like Following the River I guess.
Mick's voice is out of his range in it, but I still dig it.

'Already Over Me' maybe isn't what i'd call a great Stones slow song, not perhaps when you compare it with the Stones at their peak, but it is actually highly effective, nevertheless. There does seem to be an emotional connection to the song in the way it recorded by the Stones. It is really quite delicate and effective.
