WELL THANK @#$%& FOR THAT!

Football wins over the cheating Uruguaians (?) and they're sent home with a flea in their ear

That said, as much as I support the Dutch at the moment. Their players fall over more times than your average 3 legged dog. I wish they'd cut it out

I was praying at the end that Uruguay would equalise but have it ruled out controversially. That said they were very much second best all night. Should've been 4 or 5

You did feel fear, didn't you? The "cheating" uruguaians were pretty close, weren't they?

Sorry fellows, can I call him "crying boy" again? hahaha. Do you consider an insult? This person could say all this kind of stupid things and nobody say nothing?

Ok then let me tell him... cheat foul, cheat foul, cheat penalty, cheat off-side, cheat foul, cheat foul, cheat hand (of god? hahah) at last...

Come on fellows, everybody with good will saw that!!! It's ok, it's football!!!

Holland is a very good team, had luck and good football for moments. Robben is a f... amazing player!

Did you see - "crying boy" - any uruguaian player cry and lie on the field?

URUGUAY

OLYMPIC CHAMPION 1924 - 1928
WORLD CHAMPION 1930 - 1950
CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS 1980
AMERICA CHAMPION 14 TIMES (against Brasil and Argentina)

I tell you a secret... all this championship were CHEATED !!! hahaha
It was a long time ago but I'm sure you desire to get part of this, at least one!

AH, ok, EUROPEAN CUP 1988!!! What a beautiful team! I went for Holland this tournament for sure.

For all whose congratulates Uruguay, thank you!
Good luck for all good fans, maybe third time is the right time!

Man, what a match, what a night.
The Vuvuzela's made it to the Dutch towns. My head is feeling like I visited a stadium
show.
But anyway, you Uruguanians sure gave the Dutch a hard time. Not winning a game with
such high spirited fighting is something to be proud of. (Almost as proud as winning the
game).

Now, the other semi final. Germany and Holland are playing almost the same this WC.
Let's see if they both make it to the final.

I don't think that we'll see our boys playing the kind of football they played against England & Argentina. If we play like that, the Spanish will kick our asses. You have to be patience, when you're playing against the Spanish team. They are a lot stronger than the Gauchos. As Yogi Löw said: "They have more than one Messi."
I hope to see an early goal by Klose. Only two more goals for him and he's the all-time-world-cup-top-scorer.

If Mick is in the stadium, nothing can go wrong. ^^

That was a narrow escape against Uruguay. If the game had continued for 3 more minutes,it would have been 3-3.
I eat my shoes when the Netherlands become World Champion.

Saying that the Dutch played a bad match yesterday is an offence to Uruguay. It was the
strength of the Uruguaynians (?) that they managed to lull the Dutch into sleep after
the first goal and then suddenly attacked. Same after the second and third goal.
Unlike Brazil the Uruguaynians kept fighting. And very well so.

But the Dutch did not play a bad match. There were plenty of chances created. And that
at a semi final of the World Championship. What would you expect? To find a team that
could be easily walked over at this stage?

Mark my words, Germany and Spain will be a very similar game tonight. There will not be
one team on top all the time. Both teams will dominate a part of the game. That does
not mean the other team is bad during that time. That means we are witnessing two strong
teams fighting each other.

The Uruguayans were nothing without Suarez, the only good thing in uruguay is Suarez and where does he play? RIGHT! In Holland!

Holland beat them at their own game by playing hard, unfair and with sometimes a lot of theater just like against those Brazilians! But now, they are up to a different contender GERMANY!!

Wir werden siegen!!!!!

Heya Carlitos.

I am sure Spain will entertain us tonight! Will Fernando Torres surprise us all?
Looking forward to another great semi final, with a lot of emotion, suspense and above
all two technical gifted teams facing each other.
I can not predict who will come out as a winner tonight, but I fear Gary Lineker might
be right again:

It's in a report on the BBC website Carlitos.

[news.bbc.co.uk]

"Correspondents says Paul's plumping for Spain has caused alarm in the country, but some analysts point out that his predictive powers are not perfect.

During Euro 2008 he wrongly picked Germany as the victor against Spain."

No way, I let him eat his own shoes. It'll be quite a meal!

I'm not excited yet, I've already seen two finals before. Only if Holland will win the cup it's something totally new for me. Well, 50% chanche if they play well, 25% chanche if they play as badly as against Uruguay (I saw the game twice, the second time very relaxed and objective). No offence to Uruguay at all, they played very well, but Holland was weak during the second half of the first half and sloppy after having scored their third goal, thinking that they had already won (like the tv reporter). But you never must cheer too early, certainly not when you are playing against great and fighting teams like Uruguay.

Yep. Just checked that. They won all 6 qualifying games before the finals, too.

Ridiculous comment. So they're a team of cheats because one guy deliberately handled the ball to concede a penalty instead of a goal?

Every footballer on the planet would have instinctively done that in the same situation. And cheating implies a deliberate act of deceiving the referee - such as Maradona's Hand of God, play acting, diving, etc. It was pretty obvious the player knew his actions would be seen and he'd be sent off.
