The goalkeeper knew very well that it was a goal but pretended it wasn't. I don't blame him for that (most goalkeepers would've done the same thing), but it does qualify as trying to cheat the English out of a goal. With all that in mind, I think people are a bit harsh on Uruguay compared to Germany.Quote

That's because Germany did not try to cheat the English out of a goal.

Good luck to the Dutch today. I hope the yw in. Because if they lose, their won't be enough dykes in Holland to hold back the river of tears that will be cried.....Plus I want to see Germany beat them in the finals.

This time I agree with you Freebird. Let's forget the Ghanese (or Suarez) affair. I remember how extremely quickly the German goalkeeper brought the ball back into the field, pretending his nose was bleeding.
Yep Max, better too early than too late.

Pure speculation concerning the german goalie.
You like to keep the fire burning, kleermaker ?
Let´s hope that we don´t have to debate some questionable actions by one or several dutch players tonight ( or probably Sunday ).

So I have a stupid question: If the Dutch national flag is red, white and blue, why is the national team color orange?
