Great news!
Rod Stewart's not in because the promotors didn't want him, and his voice is only a bleak shadow of what it used to be.
Mick Hucknall, on the other hand, has always had a great voice. One of the good voices in the industry.

I like Micks *Picture Book* album when he was with Simply Red..yea..it will be interesting to see how he goes in The Faces..obviously if they think hes the right man for the job..then he must be pretty good.

I remember David Bowie praising Mick Hucknall's voice. He doesn't throw around compliments when there's no reason for them.
Mick's got a great range, power and strenght in his voice. This will be good.

Addicted..I find that hard to believe the promotors dont want Rod Stewart..and then to say his voice isnt what it used to be..its nothing wrong with Rod Stewarts voice.The truth be known its probably Rod who doesnt want the promotors.

If Ronnie has to tour with another guitarist, then forget it for me. And I have a hard enough time The Faces touring without Ronnie Lane...and no Rod Stewart. That ain't the faces and they shouldn't tour under that name. Lame.
