Stinks. An album of filler.

sharp, ripping guitar licks and riffs bouncing off walls, ceilings and various household items, tight and taunt rhythms--things that usually make good if not great stones songs. but unfortunately Lillywhite's booming '80s production-complete with the annoying gated reverb-ladden drum sound-and jagger singing, more like barking actually-like he has cab downstairs waiting and the meter running-his vocal style was so annoyingly blustery and histrionic on most of DW...It's that combination that flaws much of DW and definitely this song.

hmmmm....i'm inclined to agree...but what's it filling? perhaps a rhetorical, existential kinda question, maybe....

Well, it's not filling a spiritual or psychic void in my need to hear great Stones tracks. Not sure what it's filling. It filled the album jacket in a physical sense.

Well, I am not claiming I have deep insight about Dirty Work. I don't think that's possible.
