Ha!

How about this shot...

I saw this shot in the Grammy audience during the "3D" Michael Jackson tribute. One of them has their red/blue lenses switched, and most likely got a headache:

What an angry looking bunch.

The Grammy Awards did not take place in Florida. Also, just because folks are wearing 3-D Glasses and not smiling does not make them sex offenders or Jerry Springer fans.

Does it matter which way one wears them? I never knew there was a difference, but I was shocked to see Will.I.Am in custome 3-D glasses, but then again, it doesn't really surprise me considering the fashion sense for which he strives...

Where will be the best place to watch the Who halftime show on the Net? Any ideas?

Not sure if their is any place to watch live on the net. But I'm sure it won't take long afterwards for it to show up.

Well SCL..

A friend of mine this morning informed me that for every Superbowl where the Favorite won, the spread was covered. I have no opinion on the spread, however, the over, which you have also selected, seems like a smart wager if there is such a thing.

This is actually a re-post from an hour or two ago that ended up on page 5. Go figure confused smiley

Yeah I know BV added the promo thread onto this. Anyway, got a nice piece of change on the game. If I win I'm going to a strip club and I'm gonna make it rain. If I lose I'll bring a roll of quarters and make it hail.spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

Going out on a limb:

Saints 31 Colts 24

Steve Winwood coming on next.

Saints in a close one 27-24.

I'll go out on a limb for another prediction: Halftime show = Yoko Daltry gets the vocals dubbed - pre recorded vocals and The WHO actually wind up sounding decent.

See Me Feel Me
Won't Get Fooled Again

Great show by Two of The Who.

Sad that they had to do a medley set, but great to see . . . the boys seemed to enjoy it.

Speak for yourself. Those guys are going at it!

The Who was just OK, IMO. I would have rather heard complete songs instead of a medley.
I really liked the stage setup. No sea of young people waving their arms this time.

Surprisingly strong, in tune vocals with range and energy by Daltrey.

... And Pete Townsend positively tore it up. (Addendum: really hot guitar licks at the end of Won't Get Fooled Again. But Townsend was on fire virtually the whole time.)

A really hot set in my opinion and the audience knew the songs and was singing along with them!

The Budweiser commercials are really lame this year, almost down to the level of Miller.

Amazing to hear the stadium sing along. The band was on fire, but they did song headlines; a medley of song highlights. Lights were great; Pete, Roger and Zak ruled.

Roger was blatantly lip synching during Won't get fooled. Seemed like he was singing live for the other songs.

yet another triumph for The Who. the two originals really integrated with Zac and Pino and other players. a powerhouse. roger's voice strong even supple; pete hot from start to finis...aww . i saw this in bar and peeps born and peeps born in late eighties for chrissake were totally getting off on it. there was a spontaneous extended applause in that bar...it was exciting...louder more respectful and more enthusiastic then i had expected. i have seen them several (over 7) times in the sixties and early seventies...up real close...total access real close...that's how much i love them...this current outfit has my love and respect and the proof is in the pudding and they done brung it. 4 realz. no doubt about it imo. the rubber met the road and these guys blasted down the highway in control of an earthquake of rock sound and brilliant songs well performed. whoda thunk???
brings fond memories of the Stones triumphant Superbowl performance...
good deal. interested in hearing what others think....

Surprisingly good WHO performance. Were those 5 songs a surprise? Just what I expected, I was telling the GF what the next song was gonna be before they even started it - On the other hand BEHIND BLUE EYES was missing.... I would have preferred a 20 minute MAGIC BUS/THE RELAY medley with Eddie Vedder guesting as extra vocalist but looks like that wasn't gonna happen.....

Almost forgot GO SAINTS !!!!
