QuoteWoz QuoteMonkeyMan2000 Happy was played too, because Keith plays a tele with a capo on the third fret The capo is on the fourth fret in that photo.... That would mean SFM, correct?

Always loved this doc. Great footage. Favorite part has always been the big brutha on the stage clapping away.

Although I do not regret skipping this, there really is no better place to be than the desert on an October evening. Stunning.

QuoteDeanGoodman Quotepaulywaul .... OK, one could give them some slight benefit of the doubt. They effectively had their hands tied, entirely corporate audience, so hit them with a barrage of greatest hits (they're BOUND to be able to sing along to SOME at least), take the money .... and leg it !! Fair enough. You should have ended it here, and it would be a perfect summation. Last ni

Think of all the trucking the Stones have been involved with over the years. It's certainly an industry they know well. Makes sense in a way...

I've never seen that hand written note. To me, it really shows Brian's insecurity with his role in the band.

QuoteHairball According to many, Roger Waters was the highlight of the Coachella Festival in 2008 as the headliner. Roger Waters Coachella >Setlist Granted, it's eight years later, but that's eight years later for everyone on the current bill...nobody's getting younger. I'm sure he and his band will put on a memorable performance, and that's an understatement

My player indictaes on front whether it is playing SACD or not. You can also find reasonably priced SACD players as well. I have one just for my Stones SACDs.

QuoteTKinOH No Security was really a great tour in so many ways... Indoors for the first time in quite a while, and a phenomenal selection of songs as the tour progressed. They were in top form. Saw 6 gigs, but the pinnacle of my career was at The Igloo in Pittsburgh, 4th row dead in front of Keith. Absolute heaven! The intro video, then The Man struts forth and rips into JJF. Pure Rock B

Great interview with Theismann! Mick actually wore quite a few more jerseys than 4 on the tour, but who's counting? I also never knew that the Eagles jersey originated from someone throwing it on stage. Has that been verified?

I think this is 2 different questions. One, what bands/artists do you regret not seeing that you had an opportunity to see (meaning you were of age and it was your decision not to see them).... and two, which artists do regret not seeing ever in history? I'll answer the former because I think it is a more interesting question. (I am 46) The Who 82 (saw them a number of times after, bu

QuoteStoneage Basically, I think Jagger didn't have confidence in his musicians any more. Especially the guitar section. To ensure a steady quality he went for the Vegas concept. I think his 88 tour with professional musicians convinced him to make this decision. He had had enough of @#$%&-ups during the 81/82 tour. Probably... Yup - what he said.

Quotejohn lomax I don't think it was influenced by the Who at all. I saw Mick's solo tour in 1988 and I believe that a lot of what Mick learned and did in that tour made its way into the Steel a Wheels tour the following year. In a way it could be argued that Mick's 1988 Australian tour paved the way for the Stones tours we've experienced since 1989. Yup - what he said.

I'm sure it will get a proper release someday. I do think though the legend of CS Blues far exceeds its actual qaulity. I remember finally getting my hands on it years ago, and being disappointed. It might be better to keep it under wraps and let the legend live.

QuoteHonkeyTonkFlash QuoteKennedy Funny how pale Mick was at the start of the tour. He had a pretty good tan going later in the tour. I think he had too much pancake makeup on. In some pictures his face appears much whiter than the rest of him! I actually think it's sunblock on his face.
