Funny how pale Mick was at the start of the tour. He had a pretty good tan going later in the tour.

Quotejambay QuoteKennedy Quotejambay Really cool pictures, but this tour was one that is a was big mistake to use black and white film. The colors exploded on this tour. The LA Times (and most newspapers at the time) did not have color presses, so most photos are Black & White in the archives. It is not much of an issue to shoot on color and print on B/W, but I understand what you are say

Quotetimbernardis Mick got a cold during the 1999 No Security tour. They cancelled one of the San Jose shows but later made it up as the last show of the tour. I had tickets for Denver, right after San Jose, and we were worried they might cancel that show as well, but he was OK and the band delivered a great show. There were several times Mick blew his nose in between songs, though. I als

I realize I am in the minority, but the Billy Preston era was the low point of the Stones in the studio. I chalk it up to Keith being chemically elsewhere.

The original 3 (episodes 4-6) were a part of my childhood as well. Have not even bothered to watch episodes 1-3. Over the past couple weeks, I have enjoyed reliving the 3 classics with my 10 yr old son. We are both very excited to see the new one.

Leeds wasn't filmed for release I heard. The close-ups are because this was the video feed for the screens at the concert. I wish it had wider shots myself. It was a beautiful stage, and you don't get any perspective when Mick is out on the side ramps.

Really enjoyed the blistering piano playing on Let Me Go with Ian and Chuck sitting together at the same piano. Very cool.

Inetersting outfit for Eddie Money. Football jersey #21. Mick's very next concert (Philly 1981), he wore a football jersey #21. Looks like Eddie is a trend-setter?? **PS: if any of you correct me and say that Mick's next concert was either the Blind Benefit in 79 or the 81 club show in Worcester, you are offically the nerd of the century.

1. Rick Rubin instead of Don Was. 2. Bill Graham instead of Michael Cohl. 3. No solo albums - so many potentially great Stones songs gone to waste.

QuoteAnitapal82 I can't wait for this release. From the available clips I have seen its an afternoon show ? Or does the sun set halfway thru it ? I hope it's all daylight as it's much clearer vision in the day I believe it is dark by the time they do Satisfaction. I'll try to find the video. EDIT: Sorry, that was London I saw.
