89 was only good on paper. It was the Chuck Leavell/Matt Clifford show with Ronnie and Keith following their lead... and Mick's every step and motion choreographed and calculated. No soul on that tour.

Wish I was there, too. I lived in Orchard Lake when I "came of age" with music, and the Stones became my favorite band around 1980 at the age of 10. I miss Michigan - especially the summers.

The IEM Matrixes are the way to go nowadays. If they are done right - which the O2 shows are - they blow away a true soundboard or FM source. True soundboards are typically far from perfect. Often very muddy with no audience.
