The no piano thing might have something to do with Stu. I was lucky enough to see him play a few times with the band.

Someone floated Tom Jones on this site. I'd be down with that! I've seen him down there a few times. Think its been awhile though. Still has "the Voice"!

Ya. There were some pretty humorous exchanges. "songs about dead blonde chicks" & "shriveled old monkey" were some of the highlites. haha. To tell the truth, I'd rather have no guests & more songs with Mick Taylor instead. On youtube, I liked the Tom Waits spot & didn't mind Keith Urban. Gwen Stefani looked good but was out of her element.

Like I said, it was just a thought. Although I don't much care for his schmaltzy stuff, he is a hell of a piano player.

Any interesting rumors out there about guests in Vegas? I see BB King isn't on the road that weekend & he lives in Vegas. I could get into that in a big way. Carlos Santana is in town @ House of Blues. Don't know how much I'd enjoy that. I'm going to float something here that will never happen. Elton John is playing @ Caesar's. I know about past "difficulties&quo

I think we are lucky to have the opportunity to see them at this point at all. They could be comfortably retired at this point. Obviously there is still magic in the chemistry between them on stage. & I include Ronnie in that. The other musicians have been with them a long time now & fit in well. Looks like they let Lisa do Gimme Shelter & I'm all for that. The lady can sing! As

Factory Girl is a pretty cool choice. Also, although it has appeared sporadically through the years, I would be pleased to hear Respectable in Vegas. Some Girls was a big record for me in my sordid youth. My first Stones show was 1978 in Boulder when I was 17. I conned my parents into letting me drive from Seattle to Boulder for it. It was 2 days before the show that came out on dvd last year. Pl

It's beyond time to get excited about the tour! The Las Vegas show will be #17 or 18 for me since 1978 (I'm a little blurry). I'm really stoked about Mick Taylor playing with Keith & Ronnie. The Midnight Rambler from the PPV was stellar. I do hope they let Lisa Fischer do Gimme Shelter. She's an awesome singer & whilst Lady Gaga, Florence et al did a good job @ the ear

I'm just saying that he has been in the band a long time. Many shows & albums. I love both Ronnie & Mick Taylor. (& Brian Jones for that matter). Ronnie & Mick are both fine musicians. I hope we get plenty of all 3 guitars playing together. I think both Some Girls & Tatoo You have aged pretty darned well. I will grant you the during the Taylor years the band was at the to

I'm hoping for all 3 guitars for part of the show. I don't think there should be any discussion about Ronnie being a true Stone. He's been in the band longer than Brian Jones & Mick Taylor combined. & I love his playing especially with the news that he's sobered up. He was fantastic on the 40 Licks tour. I saw one show on the Bigger Bang tour where he was out of it but

I saw them do Worried About You @ the Hard Rock during the 40 Licks tour. Fantastic! That was a special weekend. The Joint one night followed by MGM the next night featuring Sticky Fingers. Can't You Hear Me Knocking blew me away & a stripped down Brown Sugar on the small stage. I have high hopes for this year. in Vegas. I wasn't going to do it but my inner demons/angels got the bet

I've seen 3 maybe 4 shows @ MGM (I'm a little fuzzy, haha) & 1 @ the Hard Rock. The ticket situation down there is always very fluid. On the bridges connecting the hotels & on the walk down to the arena. I bit the bullet & bought a silver hot seat, which actually is a really good spot for me & some physical limitations. 3rd row of sec 115. Given the size of the venue &am

I would be very happy with a good "Loving Cup". From leftfield wish (Mick Taylor factor): "Moonlight Mile". There is a fantastic cover of that on Youtube by the Flaming Lips. My favorite non-Stones band.

When Motley Crue opened in Seattle, there was a great Spinal Tap moment. They were doing their big, ugly power ballad with just Vince Neil & Tommy Lee playing keyboards. Vince did a big "C'mon, everybody sing along..." trip. Was met by deathly silence. You could've heard a pin drop. Was very funny. Other openers good & bad I've seen: Sheryl Crow (fantastic!). Life

I have seen some great opening acts with the Stones. Peter Tosh & Solomon Burke come to mind immediately. Also have seen some not so great openers for them. Third Eye Blind, Motley Crue (sorry, just not my cup of tea & I like some metal). Unless it's like Buddy Guy, Jeff Beck or maybe Gary Clarke Jr I think I'd prefer just to see the Stones play. I like the idea of 2.5 hours lik
