Chrissie Hynde and Sarah Brightman would do great. I'll bet Gwen Stefani didn't even get to do a whole song run through with the Stones, minimal rehearsal for Wild Horses. But she did boot the words anyways and that you can practice by yourself, so she gets some blame.

Mick's voice is so unique that nobody really harmonizes with him that well. Except Keith. It works for some reason. Or maybe it doesn't and I'm just used to it. It did take a little while for his voice to grow on me, the first time I heard/saw him sing was on R&R Circus on Salt Of The Earth. I was thrown for a bit of a loop.

I think some of their greatest harmonies were 72-81

I don't actually see this song as needing any help on the verse, just harmony on the chorus.
