I don't know if it is across the board, but I don't see how they can't refund when the original date was changed (unless it was a festival ticket, in which case the festival dates didn't change - I don't know how it worked for NOLA). Skeletonman - doesn't matter that the date has not changed, they postponed and then un-postponed. Tell them that you made other plan

If you bought from TM you should be able to get a refund because of the postponement. I had to do it via live chat as the option wasn't available on my order, but they did it no questions asked. syrel

I tried three times to transfer LDs and was refused each time (NJ). In the end I gave up and co-ordinated with my transferee. I refunded the tickets and he went online and they appeared for sale, so he could buy them himself. syrel

In Cardiff last year I had 3 pairs of LDs. The first two pairs were nosebleeds. BEFORE I got the third pair I pleaded for some pit tickets and she gave me a pair. syrel

One more story from the syrel anecdote library (the only other one): One of my university profs was at the LSE the same time as Mick. Mick offered for his new band to play at her 21st birthday party, to which she replied "No I do not want you and your spotty little friends playing at my party thank you!". syrel

Damn, would love to see ALO talk, though probably not about Rod (what's the connection?). Reminds me of a story - a friend of mine who became a prominent critic was writing for a student newspaper at Oxford in the mid-60s. He arranged to have an interview with ALO, and duly turned up at the offices at the designated time. He waited for a while, and then in walked Mick and Keith. "We&

QuoteSomeTorontoGirl Quotesyrel You mean you've never been in the Glod Circle plexi? Jeez, man, you haven't lived! He missed the 1792 tour too, methinks. Ah yes, the infamous Glittering Guillotines tour. Good, but a few too many warhorses. syrel

QuoteROPENI Is any of the shows "sold out" yet ? No shows will be sold out, that's not the ticketing strategy. The strategy is to make as much money from the tickets that they do sell, and get as close to sold out as they can on the day or two before the show. And, as many on the forum will say, no stadium show is ever literally sold out. There are always some tickets availabl

Anyone who has bought a ticket AFTER the new dates were announced... does the request a refund option exist on your order page? I am just wondering if it is switched on for the whole event, or if they recognise when you bought your ticket. syrel

Quotegrzegorz67 I don't doubt that these fees are split amongst the interested parties in a logical and agreed way. But for the paying punter, these extra fees really ought to be included in the headline ticket price in the 1st place. The ticket prices are usually advertised at their basic price pre add-ons, which to me is misleading and borders on misrepresentation. I agree with that.

According to the TM chart, there are 12 rows in the 200s on Ronnie's side, and 19 on Keith's side. syrel

Not wishing to play devil's advocate, but I'm pretty sure that facility fee goes straight to the venue. I imagine the order processing fee covers credit card charges. Service fee is split between TM and the artist/promoter. syrel

QuoteHairball Yes Syrel, but don't know why or if it matters much. For Chicago 2 you just hover over the sections to see starting at prices. I've also noticed prices seem to have increased a bit for platinum tix in many sections for that show... Actually, I'm finding that the 'list' prices can be lower than the hovered 'starting price' on the map - that

On the TM site for Chicago 1 on the right hand side there is a list of 'lowest price' and 'best seats'. For Chicago 2, however, I don't see any lists, just the seat map. Is anyone else finding this? syrel

Quotebrucepv I see that many are saying ticket prices can drop closer to the show date, I'm looking at TM Pit tickets for Glendale at $442 + fees right now and they seem to be the lowest price of any of the venues. What is the chance of these dropping further as it gets closer to the show date? Thanks in advance for any advice. They will not drop lower than that on Ticketmaster, as that

Quotelatebloomer So LD's are still available for Houston and Chi 2, but once there, I can't click on the "Get Tickets" green button. It's shaded out. Help! That means there are none available at the moment. Just keep trying. You are waiting for someone to return a pair. So you have to be extra lucky!

Just a tip if anyone wants to upgrade a ticket they bought before the postponement - it's quite easy to contact TM and get a refund for your original ticket and then buy a new one (assuming it is available). So I cancelled my left pit for Burl's Creek and immediately bought a right pit. Could help people who hastily bought platinum tickets earlier on. I read somewhere that you can cance

Quotewolundamo I have two golden circle tickets extra to sell with pick up at the box office Why not just get a refund from Ticketmaster? Tell them that after the postponement you made other plans for that weekend and now can't make it. I had an email from TM about the show that said refunds were available (and I did get my ticket refunded). syrel

Quotetimbernardis I have a dilemma and need some helpful suggestions: I have a pair of Lucky Dips for Denver meant for my wife and I, but now we have decided to take our two daughters, our son-in-law and two of our grandchildren (both age 5), for a total of 7. We need to sit up in the stands, not on the field/pitch for obvious reasons. Here's the catch: we want 7 seats all together, o
