Sunday first Horse and Hyde for dinner and after the Rusty spur saloon

Someone have better idea for country live music?

Phoenix is a big suburb full of retirees - it's more of a golf destination than a live music one like New Orleans.

Some of the more distinctive stuff you can do as a tourist:
- visit the Heard Museum
- visit Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin West
- climb Camelback Mountain

If you can get in, Pizzeria Bianco has some of the best in the country.

I strongly recommend the Heard Museum (Native American art). Really fascinating, well done exhibits.

To the out of town visitors——enjoy the city but don’t wander too far because traffic during the week will be brutal. West bound rush hour out that way gets pretty stiff starting between 2-3pm.

Parking lots don’t open until 4pm so that will back up traffic also.

Merch tents open today at 1pm. I don’t live or work near there or else I would grab stuff today.

Liking this new normal of opening the merch truck up the day before.

Was a nice surprise at the opener in Houston. Makes it much easier to grab a poster etc and get it sorted before show day

Anyone know if they have that set up outside to win T-shirts and koozies etc..? 2019 they had some games, trivia set up in the parking lot. I think the previous tour sponsor managed it. Fun way to kill some time before the show.

Are tickpick reliable?

The weather is supposed to be moderate today. Highs only in the upper 80's to 90.

We lucked out and it's not going to be a scorcher.

For anyone interested we went to the Desert Botanical Gardens. It's worth a trip.

There's an interview with Mick, posted on another thread. When asked whether Out of Time will be performed in Glendale, he responded with 'maybe not'

I suppose this is due to the relatively lukewarm response to the song during the recent two shows. The Stones' rendition is relatively obscure - to the casual fan, anyway - and Chris Farlowe's recording wasn't the smash-hit stateside, like it was in the U.K. and some other, European territories.

Big Al- I was afraid by the time the boys roll into Chicago, OOT would sadly already be dropped from the set. Loved the opening night first 5 songs. So what replaces OOT? IORR or LSTNT which have been done to death since 2012. I'd be happy with another Hackney Diamonds tune. I guess I find it odd that people spend the high $$ for tix and parking to see the Stones but aren't familiar with songs like Rocks Off and OOT.

If someone want to be cool before the show the Heard museum is a good spot. Many many things about the Native American and a bar restaurant to eat or drink relax.
