It will be my mum, her boyfriend and me. We’re flying out from Norway. Hoping to get pit of course! Once you go pit you never go back

I have a (somewhat embarrassing) Houston Lucky Dip story as well, which I can now share.

Back when the tickets went on sale, my friend from Germany used his IT wizardry and helped me find out what the LD links for Houston and Chicago were - before they were posted on the Stones website.

So I had saved those links before go time, and had a couple of devices running with the intention of buying both Chicago shows at the same time.

Thing is, I accidentally had the Houston link ready on my laptop, and while I managed to snag Chicago #1 without issue on my other device, I ended up buying a pair of LDs to Houston by mistake.

I was never going to Houston. And I only realized my mistake after I had completed the purchase. All the while, I was obviously losing time on the Chicago #2 LDs and wasn't able to get them in the end.

So I got an idea.

I still had an expired passport laying around along with an expired credit card. The card I used for purchase was just a renewed version of the expired one so the number matched.

What I did was I agreed to sell the LDs to a friend, and just mailed him the expired passport and the expired credit card.

He successfully used those to pick up the Houston LDs. And no, he doesn't look anything like me, either.

The tickets they gave him were in the lower 100s but he self-upgraded to row 6 on the floor, because he saw on AXS that those were still left unsold!

All's well that ends well.

(Oh, and I have a spare LD from somebody else to Chicago #2, too.)

A group of about seven of us with various partnerships in LD's all met up and all got in the pit..
(six of us legitimately )

They were handing pits out like candy in the line we hit ... six in a row before us, then a hiccup when I hit the booth, but right back to pit tix after that. Ended up with all pit, and a pair of lower bowl. Very generous with the LD's

Bit of a nightmare getting in with them tho.. they weren't doing the wristbands at the LD booth, but we were to get them at the gate. One problem.. they ran out of Pit wristbands. Waited (not patiently) for over an hour to finally secure the wristband, missed most of the opener, which I wasn't too bothered by, but it was definitely stressful waiting and waiting for about 20+ of us. Surprisingly, still got a great spot in pit A. All's well that ends well.

Great opener! Looking forward to them ironing out the few kinks and seeing how the tour and setlist progresses.

I wasn't in Houston. If (I doubt it) you are asking me for my previous LD pick-up time, different each time.

Can they do anything if someone who is unable to stand for the entire show, or otherwise disabled, claims their Lucky Dips tickets and finds that the tickets are for standing in The Pit?

I have seen people swap their lucky dip pit tickets with other lucky dippers who didn’t get pit.
