Indeed. I genuinely wondered which was meant to be which. "Keith" is more like Justin Hawkins (from The Darkness). syrel

Quotebv Italy, Spain, France and Austria should be on every tour in Europe. Then add Portugal. Then add UK, Ireland, The Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland - Bern, Germany more than one show, and now it is time for both Denmark, Norway and Finland. Keep you calendar open for summer 2025 in Europe, and, they might start already spring time, if they are coming to Europe from the Far East. That

I saw five shows... 1. Vegas 2. Chicago 2 (musically, a bit better than Vegas but Vegas had more buzz) 3= Vancouver and Seattle 5. Chicago 1 (which I still enjoyed and it had a good buzz but there were a /lot/ of mistakes) syrel

QuoteBosmatic1 The roof was open! Kinda hard to miss that lol, but yes it was warm in there. I wasn't sure during daylight, but when I looked up when it was dark there was a reflection so I assumed it was closed. Syrel

Quotedownagain For those who were there...the videos make it seem like a pretty hot crowd. Was that the case? Yeah, my impression was that the crowd was really into it. Also 'hot' in the sense of very sweaty - the roof was closed and there wasn't much air in there! Lots of space in Pit B last night, luckily. Syrel

QuoteTestify Quotesyrel Quotedanicarton What the hell is doing Matt Clifford in the Start me up video? Being Mick? Is he rehearsing to be Mick's replacement just in case? Jajajajajaja. It's ankward. I can't stop watching at him! He has the moves like Jagger!!! He's like that every show, it really pisses me off. I hate when backing musicians start acting like they're in

QuoteDoxa Shit, it feels stupid to comment a show based on youtube clips, but here we go.. Mick's voice problems seem to have disappeared Not entirely - he was clearly discomforted a few times last night, needing to rush to get water and (I think) even spitting on the stage at one point. I felt his voice went hoarse a couple of times, mainly in the early part of the show, but nothing t

I didn't post after Thursday as I didn't think it was that great a show, but tonight was a whole other level. Perhaps the best GS I have ever seen in person (the look on Keith's face at the end told me he thought it was a good un). Among mamy highlights, Rocks Off and Shattered also excellent, and even the guest singer was bearable on Dead Flowers (Mick wore a fetching cowboy hat).

Quotepaulywaul O - the memories ! I fondly recall queueing up (wherever the hell it was in central London, can't remember right now, it was either TOWER RECORDS or HMV) with my mate Eric to get tickets for this show, and in due course - it didn't disappoint in the slightest. Have the bootleg, that version of SOME GIRLS is scorching ! Definitely due for an official release. It was Tow

This was my new girlfriend's first ever Stones gig. We were offered £1500 for the ticket and she was sorely tempted (we were hard up students) but she saw sense. We're still together. I vividly remember a) it being packed b) being so excited they opened with Shattered and c) Mick messing up one of the lines of Melody and Keith pissing himself laughing. Sang I Got The Blues all the

QuoteDeanGoodman See BV's advice here: The pit is NOT crowded. And certainly not "super crowded." Since you paid for the privilege, you might as well set up camp as close and comfortably as possible to the very front corner or along the catwalk before the riff-raff come in. This is not a Buenos Aires situation. You should survive. It has been super-crowded on some shows this t

QuoteTopi So...notwithstanding JazzFest, is MetLife #1 the first show on the tour without a face value pit drop? Vegas pit drop did not happen until 7pm on day of show, so there's still time. What is interesting is that "face value" for many of the seats have dropped: Sections 1&5 - FV is now $350, compared to 550 on 26th, Sections 7-10 - FV is now $250 compared to 350/5
