QuoteGooo Sweet neo con should be burned to death at least he showed the decency to retire to Texas without feeling need to comment all the following administration's activities. so it'd be probably enough to ban him into the rearmost corner of our hypothetical ABB-Special Fan DVD? because most of us seem to agree that We don't wanna go Home should've been on the act

Yep, but then ABKCO decided that nobody would attend a show anymore because of the hundreds of songs on my channel (LOL!), so it was shut down..... as if ABCKO would give a flying f**k what's going on with the latter-day Stones. they may sync their re-rereleases with the t

QuotePlink I’ve read only a fraction of this thread and found several of the posts to be quite beyond the pale. For the record, I do like MT but I find the notion that he should “step in” while Keith hangs back strumming the occasional open chord and singing back up for Mick to be ridiculous... ...Not to worry, Larry, you’ll still be onstage, holding a spear, with the odd line here and there

QuoteFillmore So, a couple of days later, back from Belgium and back on the workplace, German writer an comedian Karl Valentin (1882 – 1942) comes to my mind: „It has all been said – just not yet by everybody.“ Triggerfinger were cool, the beer and the sparkling wine did their job, psycho rock n´roll on an festival stage – winner. The Simple Minds didn´t work for me for the same reason i

Quote24FPS Of the three post Wyman albums, A Bigger Bang is right there in the middle. Voodoo Lounge still had some pop on the bass that they let get away from them. Bridges is very dated, a nice experiment that didn't age well. And A Bigger Bang has the sin of being too familiar to some old Stones tunes, but still has some originality. I thought Rough Justice was their best single in the Po

Quotestonehearted ...the simple fact that until a few days ago they have completely avoided playing anything off of ABB since having set out on this most recent batch of mini-tours 2 years ago. But it doesn't seem that A Bigger Bang could have been a classic, know matter what the song list or length, if the band were only going to put that album on the shelf and forget about performing i

QuoteGreen Lady Speaking of meat to the lions, the choir for YCAGWYW had a difficult time the first time they played Rome: of course, caesar (right in the middle, above the main entrance) raised/lowered his thumb only once per choir. the performance had to be one hell of a group effort, all or nothing under his thumb

Quotestonehearted Quotemariannerl QuoteLoveYouLive I would think there is a chance that It's All Over Now gets dusted off and played in the setlist tonight. Just a guess but it would be a nice tribute. They played "It's All Over Now" last time at Werchter, in 2007. Maybe again tonight or the show after. It was played last year as well during one of the U.S. dates, with Jo
