I hope we will have stuff like "Gotta get a grip" when we finally get the new Stones-album (and hopefully just one Keith-vocal-track - or none as on Blue and lonesome...). I didn't mind the original but the remix was exce

I am a little tired of documentaries. We had all the good ones. "Tip of the Tongue" had everyone say a few things and I felt like I got to know Darryl well enough when he quoted Keith "I wrote it but do I know it?" I suppose an interview would be better than a documentary, same as with Chuck or the backing singers.

Has anyone ever tried to decipher the original Fiji Jim lyrics? I've only found a ridiculous attempt that works unter the presumption that the song was about "Fiji Gin"

What about The Who? Seems to me that any of their songs seems to exist in several studio versions. Right now I'm talking about Naked Eye but also, like, all of Tommy?

QuoteDan Stadium stages are a lot less complicated than they used to. They basically pop up out of trucks without spending 3 days building a scaffolding set. The No Filter stage looked custom built but I am sure a lot of the material is already being reused elsewhere. we saw Elton Johns stadium setup. I'm not saying he's using their stage, more like Stufish introduced a new whole

Quotebye bye johnny QuoteNikkei What kind of thread is this? Right now they don't roll because that's how the tour was planned This thread was started shortly after Charlies passing. Until today's response to a nearly year old post, it had been dormant since last December. Well there was probably a point to it then but now it seems kind of moot

Now that I think of it, every single time I've seen them the weather has been largely the same (perfect summer days between 15°-25°) no matter if in London, down south at the foot of the alps or Scandinavia. Small afternoon drizzle maybe once but that place had the roof closed. how exciting
