I’d say this one is.Keith said they didn’t pick Wayne Perkins because they were an English band. Now they have black bass player and drummer You don't think there are any black English people? Quotebye bye johnny Quotefloodonthepage The RS article indicated Charlie asked Steve. "I asked my great friend Steve....." something like that. Prior to the official statement from the band - including Charlie's comments - all articles quoted The Sun. OK...the Sun. And I'm sure plenty of other places. I just read it in RS.

QuoteEddieByword Apparently Charlie asked Steve Jordan to step in........ Yeah, it does change things a little for me considering that Charlie asked Steve to step in, versus management or someone else asking Steve to do it.

I was just thinking today that....today is the day....and couldn't remember the link info. I haven't bought or even watched any virtual shows during this whole pandemic, but this one I think I'll have to do.

QuoteRisingStone When The Rolling Stones’ first ever shows in Japan in January 1973 were announced — and they were later cancelled due to Mick’s prior drug bust — the reaction from some of the fans over there back in the day was like, “So they are coming to Japan at last. Too late.” The Beatles had visited the country in 1966, beating them by seven years. The fans felt they were waiting for them

Quoteironbelly Did Mick and Keith approve the leak about nine Tattoo You tracks to the media? Hasn't Ronnie leaked stuff before, even to the point that Mick has said in interviews "Ronnie and his mouth" or something like that, but smiling while he says it. So maybe the leak is a "leak" and part of the master plan.

No, I don't cringe. In fact, I wish I had been there....special guests and all. I had just seen them a week (or so?) before the Beacon shows at the icy cold Soldier Field concert in Chicago. I remember wondering at the time if Mick's throat problems leading into the Beacon shows were a result of the gnarly weather in Chicago...or maybe that was even confirmed to be the case? I can

Mick Avory stated many times, that he was asked over the phone to help out on July 12 1962, but soon after that phonecall he received another phonecall with something like "Thanks anyway, but in the meantime we have found another drummer", which could indicate th

Yes, this will be the first live one I don't buy. I've bought all these "modern" ('89-current) releases. I even bought the Voodoo Lounge in Japan import. I may get rid of Voodoo Lounge Uncut, since I have the "Miami Dice" boot <---which is initially what I thought I'd be getting rid of with the arrival of "Uncut" but then that mix.....
