No. I'm not sure if I can get myself to a Charlie-less show...but no, they should not stop unless they want to stop.

Quotespikenyc I like the St. Louis poster the best from this tour. Yes, I think they missed Charlie's input. Interesting how only 2 of the posters (Nashville & Vegas) say "The Rolling Stones" and the rest of them only say "Stones". And LA #1. But yes, interesting. And definitely missing Charlie's input in so many ways.

Austin and Hollywood win for best posters of the tour IMHO, though Austin is #1. Vegas, LA #2 and Dallas round out my top 5.

Great show poster. This one and Austin are the winners for the tour, IMHO.

Quotetreaclefingers There's an insecurity that's evident in people that have to shoot others down...it somehow lifts them up. These (minor) 'attacks' from Daltrey & McCartney are completely unprovoked...you never hear them coming from Mick. MJ on the other hand goes out of his way to defend, famous example of that is challenging the reporter who slagged Dylan's

Tickets were being sold for $5-10 the last time The Who ("The Two") came to Alpine Valley (WI) a couple years ago, to help fill the seats. $5. It's more expensive to go to a movie. I think that speaks volumes about local public opinion about a Who concert vs. a Stones concert.

QuoteMore Hot Rocks Quotefloodonthepage Given his mental/physical state at the time.....it would have been an awful mess. Given his musical abilities and if he was healthy...it would have been killer good. If that was the case Beggars Banquet and Let It Bleed would be not as we know it. Of course they wouldn't be the same. This whole thread is a "what if" scenario.

I saw the pic that someone posted of a sign on a Ford Field door that said "no audio, no video" or something like that. Hopefully that won't hinder any efforts to livestream?

Quotedcba QuoteTheGreek Bob's setlist is to put it mildly obscure . ... and to play theaters! I love the Man but he's not in the same league as the stones. When you play a stadium you just can't build a set with "Ventilator Blues" Melody" and "Fight". You have to play the hits. I beg to differ. Bob is absolutely in the same league as the Stones

QuoteDandelionPowderman Quotefloodonthepage Maybe this is a dumb question, but I have Keith's "Key to the Highway" on Johnnie Johnson's "Johhnie B. Bad" release (1991). Is this discussion about a bonus "Key" a different "Key"? It's the same version as the one on the Johnnie-album and the Eileen CD-single. Thanks

Quoteslewan Quotemikey C Tour kicks off Tonight looking forward to the Setlist and Bob's new Recruits! without any doubt the most interesting kick off of a Dylan tour in decades 1. He didn't perform a concert for nearly two years – the longest gap in touring since 1981-1984(!) 2. According to rumors his band is partly changed (Charlie Sexton leaving and Charly Drayton being the new

1989 - Living Colour. I went into the show knowing more about Living Colour than I did about the Stones. I was 15 and a big fan of Living Colour, and they sounded great. After the show I was still a big fan of Living Colour, but I left feeling like I had a lot of work to do when it came to the Stones. The Stones have since become my favorite band by a Moonlight Mile. 1994 (Two Shows) - Lenny K

The bonus tracks all sound pretty great to me and it will be cool to have an '82 show with "Chantilly Lace". This will be only the 2nd Super Deluxe I've bought, the first being 'Sticky Fingers' which was mainly for the Leeds '71.
